    Absolutely Captivating
wow, just wow. i was hesitant to watch this because I'm an emotional person and cry at the drop of a hat, but I'm glad I did. cause.... wow. absolutely incredible.

everything about this is absolutely stunning. everything: music, animation, plot, voice acting. absolutely breathtaking. i have no qualms about it. i was captivated throughout the entirety of the first episode and didn't want ...

    An Eternity Worth of Watching
I got to say I came into this show blind, and the only thing I knew about it was that everyone loved the manga, and after watching it I can see why. I first off I wanted to say the visual of this anime seem to be pretty good, but I will say that we have been spoiled with how good most of animation has been for these shows for the past few season, so it might be better than what I'm actually giving ...

    worth the tears and time!
i started this show without knowing what it was about, or how it was going to be. the animation is good, and the story is sad. I ended up tearing up in only the first episode, and i'm not the type of person to cry easily. I suggest giving it a try if you loved the silent voice because it's made by the same person.

My pick for best anime of the season
I vaguely remember reading this years ago. The anime is well adapted. Just the first epsiode is a beautiful short movie by itself, very emotional. Although there is a big fantasy element to this show, its core theme seems to be much more about human nature. Can't wait to see what the rest of episodes will be like.

    Refreshing storyline!
The series so far is excellent. The pacing, storyline, art, character development, everything about it is stellar. It is quite heartbreaking throughout, but is balanced by lightness in the script, funny moments, action, and so on. The depth overall is really quite superb for it being a shonen. The storyline itself is extremely unique which makes this super exciting - I can't wait to see how it ...

  • Worth watching? YES!
First episode really draws you in with a simple yet tasteful story. Yes it is sad, but fills you a need to keep watching to see what happens next.
It's a pretty slow anime season and decided to give this anime a try over anything else, and I do not regret it one bit.

  • Truly spectacular, I would recommend
This anime is beautifully written, unfortunately, I have not gotten around to reading the manga, but I've heard it's just as remarkable. There are many twists and turns, reasons to laugh, reasons to cry, scenes that make even the toughest of men giggle at the idiotic humor. It's not a bad thing though. Each episode is amazing and this is surely a binge-worthy show. It is logical and makes sense. I ...

    Nothing like it.....
I have never fallen in love with an anime or show so quickly. A marvel of storytelling, drama, heartache, action, all beautifully and thoughtfully animated. This is a "do not miss" show! Great pacing, and some truly unique strengths. Gripping, heartbreaking, sweet, emotional. Great character designs and really strong writing.

    actually made me feel something
actually made me feel something, currently on episode 8 and i cant wait for more
Manga artist Yoshitoki Ōima conceived the title "To Your Eternity" after learning that her grandmother was going to pass away due to an illness. In the beginning, she only knew the "nuance" she wanted the title to have, but could not decide on an actual title. She chose "To Your Eternity", her first idea, after her ...

    Literally the best anime
I've never made a review before but for this I thought I had to. This show gets you hooked right on the first episode it brings so many emotions and connections with the characters I don't normally cry watching sad anime but this made me ball my eyes out within a few episodes I didn't expect it to hit me that hard. whatever your doing just watch episode one and you'll be hooked like I was.
