  • Worth watching? YES!
First episode really draws you in with a simple yet tasteful story. Yes it is sad, but fills you a need to keep watching to see what happens next.
It's a pretty slow anime season and decided to give this anime a try over anything else, and I do not regret it one bit.

  • Truly spectacular, I would recommend
This anime is beautifully written, unfortunately, I have not gotten around to reading the manga, but I've heard it's just as remarkable. There are many twists and turns, reasons to laugh, reasons to cry, scenes that make even the toughest of men giggle at the idiotic humor. It's not a bad thing though. Each episode is amazing and this is surely a binge-worthy show. It is logical and makes sense. I ...

A Must Watch and Future Classic
Ill start off by stating that this is my first ever review of an anime, and boy does it absolutely deserve all its praise. The animation itself is gorgeous, has truly captivating storytelling, and continuously gut punches you in the feels. I was instantly hooked and eagerly await each and every upcoming episode just to see what trials, tribulations, experiences, and sensations Fushi goes through ...

    Emotionally devastating
In one episode this show makes you care more about this kid and his wolf than most shows entire cast of characters. It is heartbreaking to watch this innocent kid's life crumble, but once you figure out while watching episode one, who the main character for the rest of the show is, it's even more tragic. The rest of the show is also fantastic, following the indifferent but interesting main ...

    Tentative Review/Analysis after 8 episodes
    Watched the first 8 episodes.
Barring all spoilers, here are my thoughts so far:

Plot: Complex and unique, unlike any other anime I've seen over the past 10 years. A rare thing to see nowadays.

Character Development and Cast depth: Excellent, so far. Characters are fleshed out perfectly over limited episodes and each serves given importance by the creator to drive ...

    Nothing like it.....
I have never fallen in love with an anime or show so quickly. A marvel of storytelling, drama, heartache, action, all beautifully and thoughtfully animated. This is a "do not miss" show! Great pacing, and some truly unique strengths. Gripping, heartbreaking, sweet, emotional. Great character designs and really strong writing.

    actually made me feel something
actually made me feel something, currently on episode 8 and i cant wait for more
Manga artist Yoshitoki Ōima conceived the title "To Your Eternity" after learning that her grandmother was going to pass away due to an illness. In the beginning, she only knew the "nuance" she wanted the title to have, but could not decide on an actual title. She chose "To Your Eternity", her first idea, after her ...

Fresh and unique without the tired anime tropes
Unique characters, story and cultural setting. The series somehow manages to use plot armor (literal immortality) and still creates tension for loss. Very good art and animation, and the initial main draw to the series is the unique characters and setting, but I've read the manga and if you want action you WILL get it, though a little later on (starting around ep 7 or 8 maybe?)
