Amazing show with alot of plot twists!!!

One of the best comic adaptions of 2020

Rarely does an anime do so well with adapting a pre-existing story so well. Tower of God's anime solidly knocks this one out of the park in a solid home run. Even without any knowledge of the webtoon, the characters are introduced in a well paced, carefully outlined story. Rarely does an anime do so well with adapting a pre-existing story so well. Tower of God's anime solidly knocks this one out of the park in a solid home run. Even without any knowledge of the webtoon, the characters are introduced in a well paced, carefully outlined story. A world with vibrant details and background, a cast of characters that are varied without being overbearing, and a story that stands on its own in its execution with a very well timed pacing throughout each episode and spanning the whole season. This series is well worth watching.

There is one small caveat that I'd deduct 1/2 a star off from the rating for. The Japanese dub uses the name Nijyugobi no Yoru for our protagonist. Webtoon readers and the subtitles both know him better as Seumooldahseotbeonjjae Bahm or Twenty-Fifth Baam so there is a slight disconnect from the audio and the subtitles/webtoon but with such a well executed adaptation it's not really a reason to dislike the show.

ONE OF A KIND MASTERPIECE

Tower of God is one of the mahwa's I read very early so when it was announced that it was getting an anime adaptation, I was so excited for it! I was so happy for SIU that his hardwork is finally getting paid off!

The story is not like any other anime I've watched. I, personally don't like school-based anime that focuses on love or just whatnot typical plotlines. Tower of God is everything but ...

Tower of God is one of the mahwa's I read very early so when it was announced that it was getting an anime adaptation, I was so excited for it! I was so happy for SIU that his hardwork is finally getting paid off!

The story is not like any other anime I've watched. I, personally don't like school-based anime that focuses on love or just whatnot typical plotlines. Tower of God is everything but what's normal. It's mystery, thrill, horror, excitement, misery, joy - it's everything. This adaptation isn't perfect but that's what adaptations are supposed to be. For what it's worth, this is a pretty decent adaptation and you can't make me say it's not otherwise.

Unlike other mahwa readers, I actually really liked this adaptation (that's besides the fact that Nobu is voicing my favorite character YET AGAIN! Nobu just nailed Aguero Agnis, I couldn't ask for a better voice actor to take on AA's role. I love him even moreeee). I feel like they really included the most important details the series needed just enough to build the mystery and all that. Sure they cut scenes from the mahwa, some even got changed but it's all good to me. I feel like there were scenes in the anime that were executed better than in the manhwa if that makes sense. I also like the art style! Unlike what's in the manhwa, it's actually much better (but of course the recent chapters are way better drawn than in the anime but that's besides my point). The voices, spot on! The pacing is just fine (though I would have wanted it to be longer, it's all good either way). The music, man! You can't tell me that this series doesn't have the best soundtrack!

With that, PLEASE GIVE US A SEASON 2!

Outstanding Beginning

As a long term reader of the webtoon, I am blown away at the quality of animation and smooth sound this anime has had so far. I cant wait to see my favorite parts from the webtoon animated, and am so exited that my one of my favorite stories has moves to an anime.

It's just really good

Watched this by myself and then with some friends and we love it, Bam is a simp but still a pre good protagonist and the supporting cast is great; the cast is probably the best thing about this. The dynamic between everyone and the good balance of comedy and action makes this a good show. Good shit despite the simpness.

Мне нрав))) Можно смотреть и не напрягаться. В манге продолжение пушка, поэтому нужен ещё сезон))) Зачем писать большой отзыв? Мне бы хватило одного "мне нрав"

Incredible Series, SO GOOD

Made me binge the Webtoon comic in 3 days. Tower of God is full of intrigue, with great animation, great characters, and a world that you want to keep learning more about. This has become one of my favorite series and I thank the anime for faithfully adapting the beginning of the comic.

Love this series! Love the plot and the characters

I look forward to this show every week. The character developments are on point - the dynamics between the character is fun to watch and you can never predict what is going to happen next. Not to mention, the art and the music are top-notch too!
Please give us Season 2 too!!!! (Already looking forward to that)

The only reason I got a paid membership

I've been following the amazing webtoon and had to get a subscription to enjoy this great story. I'm not going to lie, I feel is going a bit fast but still maintaining the essence of TOG. I would love to get more than 12 episodes. I really want a LOT more than 1 season it deserves it. If you need a good plot to enjoy your anime you will love this Anime!!!

Great start, seems fast from memory

It's been a very long time since I read this, surprised to see it here.... and in Japanese at that..... For those that do not know, this was originally a Korean (aka. not Japanese) manhwa. Its started around a decade a go. I dropped it several years ago for reasons I can't remember.

From memory though, I believe this is moving pretty fast. That may seem odd for me to say seeing how we are 5 ...

From memory though, I believe this is moving pretty fast. That may seem odd for me to say seeing how we are 5 episodes in and only on the second floor. But, it still seems fast. The most emotionally intense scenes are right in the beginning, so getting this right is very important.
