  • I've Got Nothing For This Title... That's How Bored I Was
    **Dropped at Episode 3**
Very few anime can leave me both bored and confused at the same time, and this is one of those. I honestly don't have much to say because that's about all I've got for this one. The animation is decent enough, but nothing that impressive and mainly pastel color palette isn't really my cup of tea . The characters aren't that interesting enough for me to care about and the ...

  • Give it a chance with this in mind...
Tho i gave a 4 star review, let me get certain things out the way that will portray its weaknesses:
-Art style is questionable. Its cute and bubbly but lacks any depth beyond the main characters.
    - the voice acting is just OK. lacks subsistence and when they talk about difficult topics they seem to go un-phased at times with the art not exactly helping what their expression should be like in a ...

  • A fun watch, full of wonder
I enjoyed it, the characters, the action and style, and I found it to be positive but a little repetitive in its message. I like shows that tap my imagination and get me wondering and thinking about creativity, so this succeeded in that. If anything, I would like to see more shows like this, but without the aliens and more focus on how they operate their business and grow as individuals and as ...

    Absolutely Wonderful & Absolutely Cute
The series is absolutely wonderful and absolutely cute. I loved the series as I enjoyed watching it. This anime is about three high school girls were hailing together to fighting against aliens in Harajuku. Rito wants to make a cute art, Mari wants to be popular, and Kotoko wants to become friends with them like the others. I love these characters so much, because I adored to them. Also, I love ...

    Keep a 2 episode buffer
I think that not everyone will like the art style, but I like that it is cute and fluffy. You should be able to tell if you like this by the end of the first episode.

The first few episodes sets an expectation that there will be struggle but not defeat, it feels safe. Later that expectation is subverted, for example:

    Simplistic sweetness
I feel like this series is a statement about the recent changes in Harajuku. There has even been talk of Harajuku dying, as small, eccentric shops are being closed and replaced by international chains. Various artists have already made appeals for people to continue living in the colorful and creative Harajuku spirit - even if Harajuku, as we know it, ceases to exist - and now we have an anime ...

Give it a chance, You deserve it!
WONDERFUL. The story had good continuity, and loveable characters. I really cannot pick a favorite; they are all great. All of the seiyuu were wonderful. Lots of love for Luna Haruna in her seiyuu debut! Wonderful job voicing Rito! (I had NO DOUBTS you'd be amazing! I hope you get to do more of this kind of work for us.) Most of all Urahara has all the fun and wonderful color ...

    Why did Crunchyroll post this?
Very colorful, kinda magic-girls-fight-space-monsters in freaky future Tokyo. I know that I'm not the target viewer. I'm also, not sure what crowd this series was aimed at, but I hope they got away. One important thing to mention: the mascot thingy is a sentient tempura fried shrimp. I guess the remaining fuzzy-cat-dog-rabbit-aardvark-jackalopes were copyrighted.

Weird, overstylized, but not without its merits
While I can't say this show is in any way amazing, it's definitely heavily underrated and misunderstood. Sadly, the authors can only blame themselves for that, as the first few episodes really aren't that appealing, while all the interesting and engaging stuff shows up around the middle of the season. Urahara's horrible scores on sites like Myanimelist are both unfair and rather understandable - ...

  • A Real Kawaii Sci-Fi show!
While the storyline has charged a bit since the days when it ran here in Crunchyroll's manga section(not sure why it never completed its run there). Its heart and sensibilities of three girls running a shop in Harajuku while fighting off alien "Scoopers" that have come to earth to steal it's culture(literally ripping stuff off and taking them away) have not. Along the way the girls discover things ...
