Usagi Drop reminds us that the heart is reached through tackling real issues
Regardless of the anime or manga that we like, we rarely seem to find ourselves, as viewers and readers, face to face with serious social issues. For the most part, a lot of the anime and manga out there are as far from dealing with the real world as possible, and that's fine. Many, if not most of us, watch shows or read books to escape our world and live vicariously through others. Usagi ...

Usagi Drop, sweetest anime but the manga ruined it for me.
This was a unique anime and honestly one of the sweetest animes I have seen in a very long time. I wished it kept going, but after reading the manga I'm glad they didn't continue the story. The story in the manga makes a very akward change in the bonding relationship between Rin and Daikichi and I wasn't a big fan of it. So, if you loved this heartfelt anime and the relationship that they have I ...

    This anime is dangerous!
I'm not really into this kind of genre. Even if I watch rom-com (I'm a guy), I don't really watch kids-related anime that's why I was skeptical at first to watch it. However, when I tried the first episode, I don't know what happened but I was so hooked upon watching the first 5 mins. I even powerwatched until episode 11! Before I wrote this review, I re-watched this anime for the 3rd time. Isn't ...

Tough to find anything more real than this
I'll be brief. Usagi Drop never tries to go for super dramatic confessions or over the top plot twists. It's just a guy facing all of the very real challenges of parenthood. It's incredibly normal, yet it still manages to touch your heart.

Also, did I mention Rin is probably the best anime child in existence? Well she is. Seriously, I can't even hate kids anymore. Freaking watch this ...

    Pleasantly surprised
I have been into anime for over 10 years now, and this is the first one to pull a tear in the first episode. I have a feeling this may be an all time favorite for me. I will be waiting most impatiently for the following episodes.

Who Says You Can't Pick Your Family?
I am late writing this review, having deliberately avoided doing so. To wit: I dislike using superlatives, as they exhaust any further choices and therefore limit discussion. That said, Usagi Drop remains the single best, most-perfect anime series that I have ever watched. The emotional journey of a man willing to risk everything in order to provide for a helpless young girl, and ...

Absolutely Adorable Look at an Unusual Family Relationship
Usagi Drop is a super-cute, endearing series about Daikichi, who takes in his aunt Rin, after meeting her at his grandfather's funeral. Rin is his Grandfather's very young daughter and there's nobody else willing to look after her. Rin is shy at first but slowly warms to Daikichi.

It's a great slice-of-life anime and is a very simple story about a man learning how difficult it is to ...

Touching... It reaches deep into the heart and brings out the good in everyone.
If I could describe Usagi Drop as a chocolate, it would be dark chocolate. Bitter and sweet. Usagi Drop is the closest to real life that an anime can get. While watching, you get sucked in and pulled into Daikichi and Rin's challenges. Usagi drop is a great anime that makes people realizes the hardships many people face in life. Out of all the anime I've watched, this one was the first one that ...

    Love Summer Titles!!
The reason why Summer release titles are incredible experiences in the anime world: Before our eyes and ears are assaulted by the clang of fighting giant mech soldiers, or the high pitch squeal of high school girls transforming into space witches of the Fall anime season, we're treated to some of the more enchanting stories and concepts manga and anime have to offer.

Usagi Drop, based on the ...
