    Not what I was expecting
The whole idea behind this show: Magical girls created by Science. An alien race that only these girls can fight, flying bikes and a new energy source making the whole world peaceful. The whole world this story is set in is brilliant and well thought out. But I was greatly disappointed in the way this show is portrayed.

After watching 2 episodes, I had to stop. The reason? The ...

    It could have been better
I had hoped Vividred Op would be as good as Strike Witches. It wasn't. Very rarely was I not aware that they're school uniforms were panties and some kind of military dress uniform shirt. How hot is that island anyway?!? The premise was interesting enough and I was most interested in the character of grandpa than any of the girls. The writing could have been better and most of the last ...

Not bad... but I could've done better
    Characters: 6.5/10

-I've seen all those character types before. The klutzy main character, the previously anti-social rich best friend, the tomboy, the you-look-lonely-why-don't-you-join-our-group-of-friends girl, and of course, the cool and silent enemy. (haha :P)
-Why does this remind me of the original Pretty Cure ...

    Vividred Operation disappointment
This show began really well, and I had high hopes for it after the first couple of episodes. But it's been getting worse and worse as time has gone on.

There isn't anything original about it, but that was obvious from the very first. I can look at everything that's going on and say "Uh-huh, Rei is obviously supposed to be Fate Testarossa" or "The docking maneuvers? Obviously stolen from ...

Two pre-teen junk shots in the first 30 seconds...
Really? Now a sprinkle of fan service on something isn't going to kill it, but when you open a series with a sunrise between a 14 year old girls crotch you're obviously trying too hard. The animation is nice, but the plot isn't nearly interesting enough to hold it above the creepiness.

    Another 2013 guilty pleasure; UPDATE
For some odd reason I find myself reviewing shows that aren't that great. This a decent show, Like the new idol show, I would call this is a guilty pleasure. It's kind of over the top. And what's up with those school uniforms? It can't be underwear; they look like exercise shorts. And how the 2 warriors "dock" is beyond ridiculous. A kiss on the forehead, and the 2 unite, becoming a 17 year ...

    Was fairly Impressed
I will say while this does have some suggestive scenes i was actually blown away at the premise. I look forward to watching this series. However there are some that will critique it negatively but judging from the first episode I will enjoy it.

  • How many latex hot pants crotch close ups do you really need?
This show asks a different question. This show asks "How many latex hot pants crotch close ups can you cram into the shortest time span possible?"

Maybe if you are really into fan service l it a go.

But it is just so dumb, the full frame butt and wa-wa shots right off the bat, it makes it hard to take it seriously.

  • Not a Masterpiece but not Horrible Either.
The war on pants continues on another Earth made by the good folks that brought us Strike Witches so why the complaints about the fan service? I expected it and its all teaser not the real fan service in the original SW. It has very good animation clear and sharp the characters are likable theirs nothing much new here but I thought it was a fair job of presenting it and I did like it and it had a ...

    Great anime relatable to teens!
As a professional educator who deals with teens during the day hours, it is rare to find a work of media that accurately touches so many parts of the quintessential middle schooler experience as Vivired Operation. Its timeless lessons about friendship and young love are relatable for every teen and I would highly recommend showing this in classrooms.
