  • Wanna be the Strongest in the World
there is so much stuff they should of done with the animation of the work that would of done a bit better, and it's like when the first six episodes were done what else could they do?
Do something different, look what happen when hogan defeated rick flair in WCW 1994 and won the champion before you know it hogan ran out of ideas of what to do, that's what I thought during when watching the last 6 ...

  • Terrible show, insult to pro wrestling. Watch something else.
As a pro wrestling buff who regularly watches wwe, njwp, ring of honor, ect. I can say this show has zero respect for the thing it's trying to emulate. So what I'm trying to say is, just watch norsmal pro wrestling. There is a reason pro wrestling has been relevant for over 50 years.

    Ughhh, just terrible
The story falls flat on many levels. Pop idol turned pro wrestler on a whim. While she's doing this, for at over half a year, her actual job doesn't drop/fire her. Her pop-idol rival who effectively replaces her while she's away wrestling doesn't even consider trying to make it permanent.
Oh yeah, and in this world pro wrestling is real...
It just felt like an excuse to shove as much fan service ...

    Like watching your grandma sleep.
Some episodes are 20 straight minutes of a girl with an unusually puffy bulging crotch being held in a single submission hold.

The rest are a little better. 20 or so minutes of a girl with questionable gender due to abnormally puffy crotch being beaten or sat on.

The main character is a punching bag ragdoll. Never becoming even remotely better. She gets a lucky win after losing an ...

  • 2 Stars for a good reason.
I just can't help to see they missed the mark. To understand, one has to know the wrestling momentum first and it's mechanics.

Positives: It's refreshing to see a character not win constantly. Sakura loses about 50 times in a row before she wins her first match. It's nice to see her train and get her ass handed to her self to get better.

Negatives: I just can't help feel like ...

  • God awful waste of time.
If you're expecting a serious anime about women's professional wrestling, look elsewhere. It's nothing more than a fanservicey train-wreck made to appeal to lonely men. If you want some pro-wrestling anime, watch Kinnikuman Nisei or wait for the remake of the venerable Tiger Mask series to hit Crunchyroll.

As one Bryan Alvarez would say:

    MINUS. FIVE. STARS.

  • So disappointed In This Anime.
You would think this would be a sweet, awesome anime, but you'd be dead wrong.
The sheer amount of flat characters and extremely unlikable main character is awful.
What's the point of having her struggles as the main focus of the show (even though those said struggles were in reality very minor and MADE into a big thing by the main character herself) if you can't relate to or look up to Sakura ...

    Squealing, crying, and vagina
Really, that's basically all this is. Five episodes of the way through this lowest common denominator schlock and it's essentially a naive idol turned wrestler giving up because there's the slightest bit of pain. The main character is so algophobic that she just cries and scream like some stock character in some torture heavy horror film, all the while there's close-ups of her crotch.

Painful to watch, but maybe not for the reason you'd think
I was pretty excited when I heard about this show. Female wrestlers! Even if it was a silly fanservice show, I would watch it and probably have a good ol' time. (I like Battle Girls: Time Paradox which was fun but made very little sense.)

But I couldn't get past the first 4 episodes. Why? Simply because I couldn't take any more of the Sakura laying on the mat crying in pain. It was just ...

  • Pretty decent series
Most people say this is ALL fan service but its not in the same league as Sekirei or Freezing. This does have a lot of female wrestlers wearing small outfits and putting submission holds and awkward suplexes so thats expected of a show about women wrestlers. Checkout the WWE and tell me its not any different lol. Anywho I finished the whole series on and actually I was hoping for more. It is short ...
