WATAMOTE: A take of Otaku life
WATAMOTE follows a female otaku who wants to be popular in her high school.
    Then, life happens.
The animation is awesome, and I love the protagonist. She's adorable in a creepy way. Really cool, now addicted XD

    Funny, enjoyable slice of life.
If you enjoy romance slice of life anime's you will really love this, if you are also a very shy non sociable person you may also find your self in the shoes of the main character. Funny, lovable main character, interesting slice of life run ins and what could be a surprising out come in the end.

No matter how you look at it...
This anime is absolutely hilarious in almost every aspect! The animation is unique to the show. This anime appears to be about a lonely girl who is socially inept. She is a very unique individual and more of a less-than-normal otaku girl. I recommend watching this show as it will make you laugh at her awkward interactions with people and how she acts when she's alone too. Enjoy!!

    Total comedic genius!
I have never been this excited for a comedy series in a long time! A dark comedy at that! The humor is painfully funny and smart, and the main character Tomoko is as cute as she is horribly awkward. Who knew that Tomoko, a character made to be one of the most unappealing characters in anime history, would turn out to be one of the most adorable characters in anime history? This series also marks ...

A heart wrenching look at the pain of growing up.
Unless you happen to be one of those heartless types that likes to laugh at the over-blown angst ,hyper-drama and self-sabotage that is the inner life of a 14 yr old girl starting high-school & wishing she was popular. - For instance, her favorite music is the Yandere Boys (psycho boys) new album "Verbal Abuse".

Thoroughly enjoyable comedy, cringe-worthy at its best moments when it brings back ...

    Great laughs and fun!
By far one of the funniest shows I've seen for a long time. The first episode captured my attention while the newest episodes drew me in. The harsh realities of comparing the real world to dating simulators is what makes this show one of the funniest I've seen in a long time. A good growing up and coming of age story filled with funny moments, serious moments, and some of the most awkward moments ...

An inside look at the mind of and unpopular girl who desires a friend
This series is funny as well as somewhat dark and depressing. The poor girl just wants some friends, but she just goes about it the wrong way and that, of course, leads to comedy. I can't help but feel the need to go in my computer and give this girl a hug and tell her things will be fine

Fantastic comedy, Slice of Life, and it's simply enjoyable.
I first saw the manga of this series a while ago, read a few chapters, and saw it was getting an anime. At that point I stopped, because I thought this is a series that I might enjoy more watching for the first time rather than reading.

Needless to say I wasn't disappointed.

It's a simple story that has been done before. Girl is socially awkward and wants to forge relationships with ...

    When funny turns to uncomfortable
There are a few funny parts in these first 4 episodes but some of this pushes some really odd limits. I think for the most part they push certain things too far and turn it from humor to disturbing. I understand this series is about someone terribly unpopular and mostly ignored by others...but even as a shut in myself having anxiety being around people this show makes me uncomfortable. I have a ...
