    Cringingly Hilarious.
This Anime can definitely be difficult to watch at times but is most certainly worth it. I absolutely love how much effort Tomoko puts into trying to be popular. One of the things I also love about this Anime is how they point out how "Typical" or "Cliche" some girls can be. Overall this Anime makes you cringe & laugh all at the same time.

    This isn't everyone's cup of tea, but's it's worth a taste.
If you don't know anything about Watamote, here's a few things you should need to know: Watamote is about first year high school student named Tomoko. She loves visual novels, manga, and staying up all night on the computer; She's the typical otaku. The most important thing is that Tomoko is very introverted. Although she does her best to interact with people, thinking it will magically make her ...

Amazing and hilarious in a finger curling kind of way
This anime has some of the most cringe worthy moments I have even witnessed in my life, in real life and in anime. I absolutely love this anime because it's just so funny and you are always on your toes, waiting for the next crazy scheme Tomoko has planned to make her self "popular". The character development is really slow. I'm not sure if she will ever change but it's still a really good anime ...

Ok I get it! She is socially awkward
Welcome to the land of Watamote. For the entirety of your trip you will be lead by Tomoko, a socially awkward female who fails at conversing with others. Every time this character tries to, its painful as a viewer. The jokes are course and mildly entertaining. Tomoko tries her best to be "popular" meanwhile this anime tries to pass itself off as a reflection of "otaku" life.

Since I'm Not Popular I'll Just Write This Review
Assuming most of you have seen Lucky Star, WATAMOTE does have a main character that you may label as "an otaku" however after you watch the first episode you can see the main character Tomoko Kuroki is very different from Konata Izumi.

The main reason I enjoy this show is due to the characters life and how much I relate to her. Tomoko is a shy, almost insane girl. I love her to death. Some may ...

  • Socal akwardness to the max
This is a rare show, but i can only bare to watch an episode once a week due to the sheer amount of cringing i do watching it. If your gonna watch it, wait till its finished or its first season. That way you'll be able to burn through it in no time. Best regards to this awesome anime...

The War on Popularity Still Wages On
Even though several come to mind, it would be a stretch to try an relate this series to other ones. I could say that this series is like Oreimo on opposite day. I've enjoyed it from the very beginning and I recommend it to anyone who can remember or is currently in the rat race to being popular among their peers. This series is a pleasant break from the usually harem high school series. I've ...

Lament 1: Since I'm not popular...I will write a review
This comedy can be a rollercoaster ride of feels. It is a gag anime at its core and fans of anime like excel saga, azumanga daio, lucky star and nichijou will get the most out of it. Don't fall into the trap like many viewers have and expect the formula to change because you will have a bad time - that said if you enjoy the first few episodes do yourself a favor and finish it you will be glad you ...

    Anime has a new masterpiece
WataMote is amazing. It made me laugh a lot, it almost made me cry several times (especially after the last line of ep. 12), it broke my heart repeatedly and constantly made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and it often did several of these things in the space of a minute. It's also very polarizing and IMO all of these things combined make it a great work of art.

    Forever alone, A Neckbeard's Saga
If you are like me, a lonely basement dweller with little to no friends (and no offence but I assume you are), then you will love this series. It's utterly hilarious, stuffed with anime references, and filled to the brim with crude sexual humor. Watch it.
