  • Amazing story that surprises you.
The story is amazing. It will sit there and play with anime tropes. It will hint of major plot twists, and make you think the plot twist is more than it is, due to the way anime/manga tends to play out. The twist is often that things are not as big as they hint at, which is, in and of itself, a twist.

The story is unpredictable, and plays on the viewers assumptions. The animation is not as good ...

  • This show is really so good (my first review)
-About little girls that are military weapons and the young man (with baggage) that cares
    for them.
-World building is cool; medieval/fantasy/scifi/military themes
-Nothing is over-explained. It's more "show don't tell"
-Good character development. MC isn't a stuttering, blushing, cringey man-child
    either
    -Beautiful animation/soundtrack.

    Such a great show!!!
This is fantastic and just makes one feel so many different emotions. On top of that the animation style is beautiful and elegant. Definitely hoping there is a season 2 in the future. This has made it into my top ten favorites for its story and just everything it makes one feel. You can truly connect with the characters and feel their pain, love, and happiness. The music within this show does a ...

Wish there was a second season to this
The series was a bit of a slow start with the first two episode being not to sure where it would go and if it would be a good some to watch after that it start to turn into a light romance without give out to much as that would spoil the series.

The music was well chosen with mellow and a little bit of intensive beats but not to overpowering, the placing of the music was well done and match ...

    The best kind of sadness
I want more please! It's hard to come across anime that makes me cry but when It does it usually hits hard and that's what I always want, to be invested in the characters hopes wishes and dreams. This gave it but I want more from the series, more plot progression more feelings and ultimately more of my emotions being played.

This show has all the feels, you won't be dissapointed
The synopsis was mildly misleading to me, I thought it would be more of a God-Eater type deal, but was happily mistaken.

The music, the story, the character development and all the questions they leave to your imagination. All on point. The middle was maybe a bit slow, but that made the ending all the more feely. I was in tears.

A series about characters and their feelings
When I started this series, I was a bit skeptical, "fairy kids with swords? The hell?", but this show surely moves away from that premise, in a post-apocalyptic world about which we learn bits by bits, out main character is the only human left, having been beaten, cursed, have everyone dear to him die, and an outcast, he has a very lowly look about life, until he meet Ctholly...

    And that is ...

    needs some major fleshing out
At first, the show had me engaged. It had an interesting enough premise. The characters seems fairly interesting and the plot could have been really engaging. However, the show we have here suggests there might be more to come or that they skipped over a lot of key details.

For one, i can't say that the show has much plot. Yeah, we have girls fighting strange monsters with magic weapons. ...

    Completely Wonderful
Of the 200 anime's I've seen, WorldEnd is probably now my favorite of all-time... a fantastic show that completely surprised me.

Given the absurdity of the title, I had hoped for nothing more than a few goofy laughs, but its strength is in the characters and they are endearing and wonderful, from the very first scene.

WorldEnd is well-written, with mostly very good dialog and acting, and ...

    Excellent tragedy in post-apocalyptia
The show isn't at all what I was expecting. This is a drama/tragedy with action and comedy mixed in and even though it wasn't what I expected, I was never disappointed. The story is well rounded with excellent characters and character development. I'd like to see a season 2 that expands and explains the final ending scenes.

    Bring your Kleenex.
