  • Don't Judge a Book by its Cover
Let me first say that I rarely ever write reviews. But I felt like this anime needed the recommendation that it deserved.

To be honest, the only reason I began to watch this anime in the first place was the intriguing description and beautiful concept art. But, when I watched the first episode, I was not impressed. In fact, I was convinced that I wasn't going to be able to keep up with the ...

  • I have broken heart because of this :(
It is very sad story, mainly at ending. Before I was going to push the play button of the last episode, I made myself psychological preparation and I said I will not cry, but at the end I can't hold it and I cried like little child. I need another serie that will have good ending or I will feel sorry for those characters until my death

    Excellent storytelling
This is how you tell a fantasy story. The show puts the characters at the center, and provides only the amount of detail about the world that you really need. No pointless exposition. That gives the characters room to breathe, and it gives us a thoughtful, passionate series about love amidst war that feels real and relatable despite the fantastic setting.

This is not an action series; it's ...

  • Finally an Origianl Show
Its been a long time since I last saw an anime where I couldn't guess what's going to happen next. I thought it would be a cute little love kinda story but then BOOM! serious plot twist that turns this story into a thrill. How's he gonna save her, Is she going to be taken over, what happened to his comrades. Just so many questions and for once I cant tell what's going to happen next. Just when I ...

  • Probably the one of the three greatest anime of the season
The way the story is developed gets the viewer more intrigued as the episodes go on. There's always a bad/sad feeling in the air which is what makes it special. Most shows aren't depressing and even though it makes me sad most of the time, the happy moments are really worth it.

Heart transplant will be needed after viewing.
This show really did surprise me. I immediately fell in love with the world, its inhabitants and geography, as well as its lore. The characters are very well built from protagonists to side characters. No, there will be no recaps or synopsis of the show in my review; all I will say is that this is worth the watch. I'll even go as far as to hoping that there is a continuation or prequel season ...

  • Worldend: The story of life isn't fair.
    Big fan of this one.
Moving storyline, characters you love, and a brutal honesty in a "life isn't fair" kind of way.
Kutori/Chtholly is a loveable character you just want to wrap in cotton wool and protect.
Great little show no-one seems to have watched, so pop it in your queue.

  • Beautifully animated and written
I was hooked after the first episode used "Scarborough Faire" for in-episode music, but the story has proven to be really well done. The artwork is beautifully drawn, so it is visually a treat. The character development is more than adequate, and in some cases, it IS the story! The main male character, Willem, is the "last human" alive, and he is struggling to come to terms with a world of ...
