    Another Regional Tourism Anime
If you have been paying attention anime has quite an impact on tourism in Japan. In fact Canada recently got on the trend to make an animated commercial to try and get Japanese tourist to Canada during wintertime. This is one of those anime that is designed for the sole purpose of being a tourism infomercial (another one is "Anime Project Tourism Toyama"). Personally I enjoy them even if no one ...

This is a blatant advertisement for Gunma Prefecture.
It starts out by playing up the fact that the doors on certain trains don't open automatically, and makes a tale out of it, pretty creative. But, I cant see this lasting or another episode. The episode is short followed by a statement by a mayor in that prefecture. It looks like series of advertisements for the area. The artwork is suspect and the animation is poor, I'd pass on this one. I ...

I've never beeen to Gunma, but now I want to go
It's a little quirky, but I've enjoyed it a lot so far. There's a fair amount of assumed cultural knowledge, but the Gunma-specific stuff comes out pretty well. The storytelling has a fair amount of affection for the region, and the live-action shorts at the end are a nice treat.

It’s a fun and short promo for Gunma prefecture
If you want to visit, or are just curious about, Japan this is a fun little anime about Gunma. The anime uses the story of a student who transfers to a school in Gunma prefecture to introduce the various cultural traits of Gunma. The story is fairly clever as Gunma is presented as menacing and mysterious only to reveal some fun aspect of the culture in Gunma. It’s pretty weird. It’s made me want ...

For the length it is, its pretty good
Seeing people whine about it being short. It is. It's 3 minutes. I'm expecting this series to just be a series of 3 minute jokes. If that doesn't bother you, get on the train to Gunma where the doors don't open and you should seriously question whether to pay attention to your teacher or god.

  • Crazy, wacky, and promotional
This is definitely an attempt to pull tourists.. though I'm still not quite sure how! The show is quirky and weird, but it definitely left me wanting to visit and get to know more about Gunma!

It was a fun, and somewhat confusing one to watch sometimes.. but was fun to watch none the less!

  • Priceless and Nostalgic
I spent a year teaching English in Gunma. This anime brings out all the feels and I'm learning all these new things I never knew only happened in Gunma! Sadly each episode is so short, it's a bit jarring, but I've thoroughly enjoyed this show.

Going back to Japan in a few weeks and my whole trip is almost completely in Gunma... it's a magical place!

  • I really did not know Gumna yet
There's something pure about the pride the Japanese hold for their hometowns, and You Don't Know Gumna Yet somehow highlights this in the best way. I've been away from the anime world for a while, but this really feels like something amazingly Japanese. Something about this makes me just sit there going "さすが日本!" ("That's Japan for you!") and makes me want to return to Gunma and experience ...

The idea that I'd be paying a subscription to watch commercials is baffling
I watched the first episode of this and it was kind of cute and funny and strange. But it was also only a few minutes long and kept doing this "Gunma Fact~!" bit. Suddenly I realized that this is not a show for entertainment, it is instead a series of commercials. While I think that is creative and it'd be nice if all advertising strove to be entertaining this way, I'm not paying a subscription to ...

    Boring show so far...
I can't see this getting any better. It seems to have an appealing show banner but it is so far a publicity for a place in Japan and the short episode makes it seem as no plot will ever be made. The art seems to be almost halfhearted and only done with the minimum of budgets.
