  • Still my favorite to date
At first people may think I would be biased about this, but I had to go back and rewatch the whole series from beginning to end and I still can't deny that it is my favorite series from the character progression, the art, the fight scenes, animation,

  • Very fun show, watch the dub
This is a show that starts off very strongly and lays down its foundation. Certainly the ground work for a great deal of other shonen shows it stands the test of time. With great characters, a fun story, with plenty of arcs and development to the world involved.

  • love this anime so much
This is an amazing anime, it is by far my second favorite anime of all time, only behind Dragon Ball Z. The action, storytelling, and consistent brisk pace make this a very enjoyable anime. I highly recommend it for any fan of anime, whether you are a seasoned pro or just a beginner you will love this exciting and gripping series.

  • A fun classic that has something for everyone
Used to watch this all the time when it first came out, and to this day the voice acting holds up amazingly well. The imagination and visuals make this a true classic that more than makes up for any shortcomings in pacing or storytelling, it really is one of those old school anime that everyone should see at least once.

  • Classic shounen style
This was one of the shows that got me into anime when I was in junior high and I'm so glad it did. It definitely feels like a classic when I go back and watch it now, from the animation style and nostalgia feel I get. A great tournament anime, but you also get good backstory on the characters and the development and pacing is pretty good.

  • Great Anime to watch over and over
I loved this anime when it first came out, and later bought the whole series. Its a great "oldie but goldie" and I'll sit down and watch this every few months or so. The Characters are charming, the action and visuals are good. The good guys are powerful without being obscene (no major multi-episode transformations here), just good old fashion kick-butt-ness.

  • Timeless, a Fantastic Fighting Faire
A must watch for any fighting fans. I highly recommend it.

This quickly became one of my favorite shows when it was released on Toonami about 16 years ago (yes I'm old). I'm so happy that its stood the test of time, and that I still enjoy the show years later. The characters are engaging, each with their own vibrant personalities, and the story draws you in.

  • an absolute classic and a personal favorite
this is 90s shounen at its best. all the characters are loveable and fun, the tournament arcs are a blast, and there's really only the one weak arc before sensui. it's the only dub i've ever genuinely loved and I'm so glad it's finally made it onto Crunchyroll <3

Classic Story by creator of HXH.
Absolutley a great anime. The story telling isn't what we're typically used to from anime, so it mixes things up a bit. Fighting, character development, sense of awe and adventure, it's all there. Definitly give this one a try, I can promise that you won't regret it.
