Classic storyline with cool fights and characters.
I watched a few episodes of this show on toonami when I was younger. I went back to watch the series a few months ago and was hooked. I watched the subbed version which I liked better. Also, even though crunchyroll only has 100 of 150 episodes, the last arc strayed from the manga, was rushed, and changed voice actors for main characters leaving viewers with a nasty feeling. I would recommend ...

    My childhood has returned
I remember watching this forever ago on Toonami back in the day but never finished because I had the attention span of an eight year old. I mean, I was eight at the time and still have the same attention span but don't judge me!

Anyway though, an excellent action adventure that's sure to please the inner-child of any older users that remember watching it when they were kids like me or anyone ...

    A tragically unfinished classic
Zatch Bell revovles around a mysterious boy names zatch (from another world) sent to a anti-social teen genius by his father

Soon after various events they discover zatch is a mammodo (demon in the original if you care) and is in a battle among 100 different mammodos (demons) who fight along side with human partners who are able to use their spell books.Fighting against or beside fellow ...

CR is delivering to it's fans once again
Another classic! This is kinda similar to your average shounon but it has some pretty hardcore slice-of-life qualities every now and then. Zatch Bell is a hidden gem for sure! Unique characters than can deliver both laughs and tears. Give it a shot!!

My Childhood Hero, Then and Now
You may cringe at the dub, and hate on the "cheesy-ness" of this anime, but keep in mind that this anime was created during a time where anime was still a growing t.v. category in the US.
Personally, I watched this when it was first aired on toonami, and not only did it help build my self-esteem, it has helped turned me into a responsible and caring adult. This series, with its flaws, is strong ...

    Chichi wo Moge Episode 11
    Chichi Chichi Oppai
    Boing Boing

    10/10

The animation is still enjoyable, the action sequences and plot is great.
The spell book/partner theme is also enjoyable

It can get really silly sometimes but overall, I recommend the show to anyone who wants a lighthearted show that can still get serious when it needs to.

Kiyo and Zatch are an unstoppable duo - A great classic comedy/action series for everyone to enjoy
Zatch Bell was one of the best anime series I discovered through Toonami back in the good old days of the early 2000s. I watched the pilot when it first aired, not knowing what to expect and I got a series with a great formula, nice action, really funny and likable characters and a ton of mystery. I've watched alot of anime in my time and Zatch Bell is one of those that has a special place for ...

    One Word - Childhood.
I cant remember the last time is saw this anime on tv. Its been so long and now that its on crunchyroll makes up for the unfinished part of my childhood. Even with this said it is still a great anime nonetheless. I only wish that crunchyroll bring more nostalgia along with the more recent releases such as Tokyo ghoul.

Loved as a kid, still holds up.
Decided to watch this series again for old time's sake. It does have that old look that anime used to be like, but that brings a different charm. At least I think so. It's been a while since I've watched it... I remember what's going to happen next but I keep going because it all feels refreshing. Yea, it's childish at times and it's not your Attack on Titan or your Fullmetal Alchemist... it's ...
