Okay, giving this anime a complete 5/5 is something that most people do just because, but I actually have REASONS for doing it. So before Rating my review as 'unhelpful', listen to WHY I think it's so amazing.

Okay, giving this anime a complete 5/5 is something that most people do just because, but I actually have REASONS for doing it. So before Rating my review as 'unhelpful', listen to WHY I think it's so amazing.
To start off with, when I first saw this anime the graphics themselves amazed me. Of course, it's probably due to the fact that this is a new anime so it's made with the most modern equipment, but hey, what other reason is there? The character designs are detailed and interesting, the colors are amazing, and I love the background images as well.
The storyline: I really loved this storyline because it was unlike anything that I have actually seen before. Teito is a former slave, always treated as the outsider. Yet he finds his one precious friend, Mikage, who brings him out of his introverted lifestyle and helps him smile again. The story is sweet, and as things progress I have to follow along curiously, never predicting what would happen next. I also find the concept of the black words that they use as their weapons really original and interesting.
The music also impressed me. I really love the upbeat opening because it sounds exciting and mysterious, but the calm and serene ending really had me amazed. Original, sweet-sounding, and clear. Background music during battles etc. also sound good in this anime, and as far as I know, they are NOT just the opening or ending songs slowed down.
The characters: I already said that the designs themselves were amazing, but what I loved also was the many characters in this anime that actually have a NAME and background info on them.
