  • The Tears We Cried That Day
Anohana is one of the best animes ever. Fantastic story, characters, soundtrack, directing, and writing make this show awesome. It's also one of the saddest things ever.

The story is that six group of kids were having fun one day until one of their friends died. Then 10 years later, she comes back to "haunt" one of the other five (the MC). This show is about how these kids have dealt ...

  • Anohana: The Flower That Didn't Quite Bloom
I was really excited to watch this anime at first, but over the run of the 11 episodes I found myself disappointed. When dealing with an anime that intentionally tries to pull at the heart-strings one must truly be invested in the characters and story. The story had its up and downs, but to me felt like it kept fumbling to try to find a true tear-soaked ending. However, I don't think it ...

  • The feels are strong in this one.
This show is absolutely fantastic. The ending made me bawl my eyes out for a good half hour, probably more. The story was so compelling that I ended up binge-watching the entire show in one day. Now, I'm going to try to buy it and I recommend you do the same. XD

  • Warning: there is a 99.999999999% chance you will cry!!!!
Where do I even begin, this was one of the most beautiful animes I have ever watched in my entire life. By the end of this I was sobbing uncontrollably. So as in my review title: Warning: there is a 99.999999999% chance you will cry!!!! So be careful while watching and keep a box of tissues nearby.

  • Spectacular Short-Series!
Although, it was was very short in length it leaves the viewer with a comfortable ending. The loose ends are tied, and you can truly be at peace with the outcome. It's often compared to Clannad: After Story not plot-wise, but emotionally. It's a beautiful, sentimental roller coaster ride that's definitely worth sitting down and processing what goes through the character's minds. Each is complex on ...

  • A beautifully crafted portrayal of friendship, life, and love
If you're looking for a series to cry for yourself to sleep, Anohana far exceeds the qualifications. A wonderfully crafted reflection about childhood friendships, haunting guilt, and innocent love, Anohana presents thoughtful characters on a journey to find themselves and discover each other again. This original portrayal of youth tugs at the heartstrings and leaves the audience ...

  • A Beautifully done anime
At first I was skeptical but, as I continued on in the series I began to truly see what this anime had to offer. A promise, unrequited love, an a friendships an loved ones that were easily effected by a girl that had left them a long time ago. A long with the amazing well done art, I was truly moved by this story.

  • Beautiful, Sad, Happy
Anohana manages to capture the beauty and innocence of childhood like no other. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but that's what makes it so great. The characters are so deep and complex, each with their own personality's, which seem to compliment each other, allowing the watcher to feel as if they know everyone personally.10/10 would watch again.

    A Beautiful Story About Friendship...
So after watching this series and the movie, I couldn't help but join THE FEELS train. I cried and choke at the goodbye scene. People lingering on memories and regrets. Sometimes they even blame themselves on "Why did it end like this?" or "What if things happen differently?". This series captivate how they overcome their wounds and convert the bad memories into good. Saying goodbye is the hardest ...

  • Go, Go Peace Busters!
A beautiful story of relationships...that is how I would sum it up...Love of parents for their kids despite and inspite of their shortcomings, the love of friends for each other transcending age, gender and intellect. It was a happy-sad story, where the past was haunting everyone and would not let them move on. And finally the closure to all their issues that freed them from their guilt and ...
