  • Spectacular Short-Series!
Although, it was was very short in length it leaves the viewer with a comfortable ending. The loose ends are tied, and you can truly be at peace with the outcome. It's often compared to Clannad: After Story not plot-wise, but emotionally. It's a beautiful, sentimental roller coaster ride that's definitely worth sitting down and processing what goes through the character's minds. Each is complex on ...

  • A beautifully crafted portrayal of friendship, life, and love
If you're looking for a series to cry for yourself to sleep, Anohana far exceeds the qualifications. A wonderfully crafted reflection about childhood friendships, haunting guilt, and innocent love, Anohana presents thoughtful characters on a journey to find themselves and discover each other again. This original portrayal of youth tugs at the heartstrings and leaves the audience ...

  • A Beautifully done anime
At first I was skeptical but, as I continued on in the series I began to truly see what this anime had to offer. A promise, unrequited love, an a friendships an loved ones that were easily effected by a girl that had left them a long time ago. A long with the amazing well done art, I was truly moved by this story.

  • Beautiful, Sad, Happy
Anohana manages to capture the beauty and innocence of childhood like no other. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but that's what makes it so great. The characters are so deep and complex, each with their own personality's, which seem to compliment each other, allowing the watcher to feel as if they know everyone personally.10/10 would watch again.

  • A Beautiful Story About Friendship...
So after watching this series and the movie, I couldn't help but join THE FEELS train. I cried and choke at the goodbye scene. People lingering on memories and regrets. Sometimes they even blame themselves on "Why did it end like this?" or "What if things happen differently?". This series captivate how they overcome their wounds and convert the bad memories into good. Saying goodbye is the hardest ...

  • Go, Go Peace Busters!
A beautiful story of relationships...that is how I would sum it up...Love of parents for their kids despite and inspite of their shortcomings, the love of friends for each other transcending age, gender and intellect. It was a happy-sad story, where the past was haunting everyone and would not let them move on. And finally the closure to all their issues that freed them from their guilt and ...

  • Very tender and emotive
This is definitely one of the few anime that can make you feel really sad for something that (probably) is not happening to you. Anohana has the ability to make you empathize with the characters and make you appreciate the value of true friendships through the years, and how they can last even beyond the death. Most of the anime you will feel a tense climate, since those happy moments the ...

  • Truly Beautiful~~~~~
This has got to be the most beautiful anime I've seen and easily take its place as my favorite. The amount of emotion in every episode is incredible and after the episode ends you just want to keep on watching to see how things are going to turn out. I really don't want to say more than I have, it's better for you to experience it for yourself. Highly Recommended.

  • An Anime With Heart!
Anohana is a needle in a haystack kind of series. Anohana is filled with heartbreak, tragic pasts, deep emotions, a bit of humor, and seemingly everlasting friendships. That vague description may seem like it makes for a typical whatever anime, but you're in for a ride with this one. The ending will seriously make you feel like you watched far too many Humane Society commercials.
