Tears, Feels, and That Flower I Saw That Day.
I eventually thought that since, this series, has only 11 episodes, it would not work out well like many other animes. I thought it was going to be weakly developed, with a bad story line, but man, was I wrong! The storyline, artwork, character development, feels, thrills, they were all so good! After the first episode, you get that feeling where you want to know more, ...

    Amazing. Such a tear jerker.
I was not expecting a bucket of water at the end of this series. This is just too good. Amazing. The drawings, the story were amazing. I really don't know how to describe this anime. From broken friendship to becoming one and sending your beloved friend/lover to heaven is just truly amazing. This is a must-watch anime.

Sad, Funny and Amazing. A must see!
I have heard about the various "sad" animes that will make you cry for awhile now. Not mentioning any specific names, of all the ones I've watched, none have made me want to cry. Then I stumbled onto anohana. Anohana is a fairly short series about how a group of childhood friends are reunited by the sub-presence of a friend who passed away , Menma who incidentally can only be seen by the main ...

  • One worth watching!!
I am going to keep this very simple. This series is so heartwarming. I read many of the reviews that said each episode was a tearjerker and I was expecting that, but only episodes 9-11 really got to me emotionally. This really is an anime that is worth the time to watch.

  • Just wow, just wow. Amazing.
If I could watch it again, I would, a hundred times. It didn't make me cry like Angel Beats but man, it hit me hard. The Nostalgic feel of it, the amazing music, the plot, the humour. I wish I could find a different Anime that could compare too this, I just love crying when it comes to anime.

  • A beautiful, honest piece.
Anohana is a powerful, well articulated tragedy about the difficulties of moving on after the loss of a loved one. It has an authenticity and sense of storytelling not often seen. Not going to say much else other than it is 100% worth watching and rarely misses.

    Anohana is well worth watching.
When I was scrolling through Crunchyroll I saw Anohana looked to be a short show of only eleven episodes so I figured it would be an easy watch. I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as engaging as I thought or that it would instantly become a favorite.

The story of Anohana isn't anything truly new. It focuses on the lives of six different teenagers from when they were children. Each of them ...

Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, IS 100% ORIGINAL. This story of childhood friends, who grew apart when one of their close friends passed away in a accident, come together to help make her wish come true and i must say with this anime get ready for feel city. This anime competes with Clannad though it might be shorter the amount of tears you shed will be the same!

Tragically Beautiful, One of my Favorite Anime Series of All-Time
Every time "Aoi Shiori" begins to play during the opening title sequence, I am reminded of how wonderful and touching this series is. It's wonderfully written, has fantastic animation, and the characters are all tragically-beautiful. I can safely say that you WILL get emotionally invested in each of the characters, which is part of the reason why this anime is so great. The series doesn't fail to ...
