  • Just wow, just wow. Amazing.
If I could watch it again, I would, a hundred times. It didn't make me cry like Angel Beats but man, it hit me hard. The Nostalgic feel of it, the amazing music, the plot, the humour. I wish I could find a different Anime that could compare too this, I just love crying when it comes to anime.

  • A beautiful, honest piece.
Anohana is a powerful, well articulated tragedy about the difficulties of moving on after the loss of a loved one. It has an authenticity and sense of storytelling not often seen. Not going to say much else other than it is 100% worth watching and rarely misses.

    Anohana is well worth watching.
When I was scrolling through Crunchyroll I saw Anohana looked to be a short show of only eleven episodes so I figured it would be an easy watch. I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as engaging as I thought or that it would instantly become a favorite.

The story of Anohana isn't anything truly new. It focuses on the lives of six different teenagers from when they were children. Each of them ...

Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, IS 100% ORIGINAL. This story of childhood friends, who grew apart when one of their close friends passed away in a accident, come together to help make her wish come true and i must say with this anime get ready for feel city. This anime competes with Clannad though it might be shorter the amount of tears you shed will be the same!

Tragically Beautiful, One of my Favorite Anime Series of All-Time
Every time "Aoi Shiori" begins to play during the opening title sequence, I am reminded of how wonderful and touching this series is. It's wonderfully written, has fantastic animation, and the characters are all tragically-beautiful. I can safely say that you WILL get emotionally invested in each of the characters, which is part of the reason why this anime is so great. The series doesn't fail to ...

  • Great character writing and art
Memorable, vivid characters that will stick in your brain. I cried a lot... but it's not overly sad, it's happy too. I loved it. It's not a saccharine sweet show, it has a slightly gritty realism. Male, female, child and adult characters are not neglected or 2-dimensional. Just about every character in the show has an individual story arc that is meaningful and interesting, which is an impressive ...

I never thought I'd cry THIS hard at this show.
From acclaimed screenwriter Mari Okada comes a heartwarming story of love, forgiveness, and resolution. Combine that with brilliant voice acting from Ai Kayano, who truly brings Menma to life, as well as gorgeous animation from PA Works, and Ano Hana is guaranteed to warm your heart and make you both cry AND smile.

    This anime is so AMAZING
Just watch it....in one sitting. You won't regret it. You will tear up at least once. It's so beautiful, sad, heartwarming, and touching. Bring a box of tissues. The characters become relatable as you watch this. I totally see why this anime gets so much praise. Truly a masterpiece.
