    Warning: If you watch this through to the last episode you're probably going to cry like a baby!

    It's the story of a group of childhood friends. Menma, one of the group dies in an accident. After her death the group drifted apart. Years later the friends come to grips with her death when she comes back as a ghost.

    Pretty good animation quality. Nice songs and voice acting.

    Probably the best anime series I've seen since "Angel Beats!"... both have very similar themes and powerful emotional endings. So if you like "Angle Beats!" you will probably like this and vice-versa.

    5 stars does not do it justice -- If you are willing to let yourself experience emotions at this level I cannot recommend this series highly enough.

    This anime was simply amazing, I would watch again. However, I do not want to start tearing again. It brings of thoughts about friendships, loved ones, regrets, everything that one would normally just block out. Its an amazing anime not because it was sad and heart warming, its because it made you take a look at yourself after watching it.

    We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day (henceforth Anohana) is best described as a slice-of-life series that quickly distills into an emotional drama, with some romantic undertones that aren't clear until the last episodes.

    Absolutely wonderful... will make you cry, but will also warm your heart! You won't know what her wish is until the end of the series. All the pieces come together nicely and you aren't left hanging at the end. Although, it would be nice to see what happens to the friends after high school, I'm satisfied with the way it ended.

    I can say in all honesty that I haven't cried in a long long time and I've watched many sad anime's but this one hit me right where it counts and I cried.     Not gonna lie, it started REALLY slow. My brother recommended it to me and said that this was the only show that has ever made him tear up, so, knowing the guy that he is, that meant I'd just be straight bawling at the end (and I'm a 20 year old man).     anohana is a emotional roller coaster that no other drama could beat. characters are surprisingly unique and fleshed out. and the end. DAT ending. one of the best endings ive ever seen. well anyways everyone should watch this if they into drama :3
