Bipedal beings would find use in a tail for (less prehensile tails) knocking things over as a distraction to (more prehensile tails) operating a basic secondary weapon or item. And ofc, balance/counter-balance etc.

Pray for God's help in salvation before that happens. Wouldn't hurt at this stage as the dogs have the upper hand. (No wonder dogs in the bible were given a symbolicly evil meaning by God, and the Japanese don't believe it. Really ironic)

@lanail: That's the proble....how can they crash the ship if they've been incapacitated? As in, they can't move or control it? They have to regain control. Only way out. And ironically do what Christmas is supposed to be about in a sense..

@verinaemoth, The story does not bash Christmas nor Christainity. The writers were very objective in telling how people view the holiday. I applaud their efforts. Good episode.
