This story is twisted

I liked the basis of the story but this anime is a little sick. I know a lot of people love this anime, but it's perverted on another level. I'm kinda upset I watched the whole thing. I wished I skipped to the end.

Unfortunately, I can only describe it with spoilers: You expect Naoya to be more of a father figure to the princess, but he falls in love with her. That's not even the sick part. ...

I liked the basis of the story but this anime is a little sick. I know a lot of people love this anime, but it's perverted on another level. I'm kinda upset I watched the whole thing. I wished I skipped to the end.

Unfortunately, I can only describe it with spoilers: You expect Naoya to be more of a father figure to the princess, but he falls in love with her. That's not even the sick part. The princess' mother was Naoya's previous lover. They had a child together. Thus, he ends up falling in love with his daughter's step sister. I really wanted him to create a father-daughter relationship with Princess Lotte, but that's not what happened at all. I more so expected Naoya to rekindle his old relationship with the queen, but they make her a sex crazed, irresponsible woman that you may hate, so there's never a chance of her and Naoya hooking up. Not to mention, others have already pointed out that Lotte is 10 and Naoya is 23. This story is all kinds of wrong and a waste of time.

Cute and enjoyable but slightly over the top sexually

While I'm not a huge fan of lolicon, I actually really did enjoy this anime. There seemed to be a decent, if overly sexualized plot that followed the relationship between the two main characters. I also really enjoyed how they talked about the other realms and the connection to the world tree. Enjoyable, but not for everyone.

Review for a Harlem?

Ah, alright. Now Harlem-genre series aren't particularly 'cup-of-tea', as I feel it repeats itself over a longer span of episodes or seasons. Nevertheless, after watching a few episodes in this, I quickly fell in love with the series, I loved the idea of a Succubus /not/ loving men, as Succubi are known to do, and rather than a hard-to-follow bond with a whole group of people, they focused on one ...

Ah, alright. Now Harlem-genre series aren't particularly 'cup-of-tea', as I feel it repeats itself over a longer span of episodes or seasons. Nevertheless, after watching a few episodes in this, I quickly fell in love with the series, I loved the idea of a Succubus /not/ loving men, as Succubi are known to do, and rather than a hard-to-follow bond with a whole group of people, they focused on one in depth. This was short, but when I find a series I like, I usually wish there were more, the ending was heartfelt and quite a good ending compared to other endings I've seen. It took me only the first episode to quickly snatch my interest in this show, which consumed me to watch it. It took me a whole day to finish the series, which is good if you have a day off, or it's the weekend with absolutely nothing to do.

All in all, I loved the series, it was cute, eccentric, funny, and lots of the interactions were quite adorable. I'd definitely recommend this to other people, if you have an interest in Harlem-genre series, you'll love this instantly, if not? It might take a while to grow, but I do believe this series earns the five-star rating I give it.

Depending on your tastes, it might take a couple of episodes for it to grow on you, but sit it out. It's worth it. Astarotte's Toy is one of few animes I've seen where every last episode was touching in one way or another. Some of the content may not be suitable for all audiences, but if you can over look that fact, it's almost like watching any other series out there. There are, however, some ...

Depending on your tastes, it might take a couple of episodes for it to grow on you, but sit it out. It's worth it. Astarotte's Toy is one of few animes I've seen where every last episode was touching in one way or another. Some of the content may not be suitable for all audiences, but if you can over look that fact, it's almost like watching any other series out there. There are, however, some pretty messed up scenes, the revealing of Naoya's age for one, but many are humorous. The music can become loopy after awhile, but it's easy enough to drown out. Some of the characters do come off as rather annoying at first, but after watching the full series, I believe it was intentional. To me, it appeared to be part of the story development. That said, again, sit this one out. Give it the time to grow on you. If you still don't care for it, look on the bright side, it's a short, but nonetheless excellent series. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

loli's are supposed to be a cute look but dont touch aspect of anime. When you try to add sexual content like this in a story that centers around a 10 year old girl you pretty much create an anime that cant be saved regardless of the context in which is told. I weep for humanity when I think about the creators of this anime and the sick people who who may get off on this or at the very least see ...

Now, for those who don't know, Astarotte's Toy revolves around Astarotte, a young succubus from the monster world, who has recently turned age 10. EEEEEWWWWWWW.

Now, before you turn away, let me explain; while this IS one of the shows few sore spots, it is NOT the focus......this isn't Boko no Pico, after all. No, instead, it is brilliantly used for character development.......I KNOW! Weird, huh? See, Astarotte is a succubus who absolutely hates all things with a penis. The reason? Well, she believes them to be nothing more than sex hounds who really, REALLY wants some.
As such, you can imagine her dismay at hearing the fact she'll have to do it.......

Now, enter Noaya, a 23-year-old single father of Asuha, age 10......do the math.........mmmmmmhhhhhhmm.

Naoya gets transported to the monster world to serve under Astarotte's thumb, as her "toy", and the two develope a friendship from there.

See? Astarotte learns the error of her ways and manages to find a friend in Noaya, learning that not all men are evil......Character development. Boom.

That's all I have to say, here's hoping you enjoy the show!

This show just killed my faith in humanity.

Like seriously? She looks like she's 10 years old. It's so wrong and i dont know what some people find cute in that. and even the milk she drinks comes from her maids breasts. Thats just too nasty!

And the comedy in this show is so fishy, Normally i'd watch anime to get ...

Truly proactively sexy and adorable

i saw the series like a year ago so my memory of the anime is not fresh in my mind. I remember the series was filled with perverted jokes, intimate scenes and other things that i don't know how to describe in words. If you are a fan of humor, harem, with a bit of romance and action and have a mind that can handle this anime, then i recommend watching this show

This is worth the watch, seriously!

If you enjoy alternate world anime and different races... or are just an ecchi fan.. Watch it, you will be overjoyed you did.. The only down-fall is the fact that you are left with wanting to watch more after this one is finished!
