  • An unusual but suprisingly fun show
Looking for the next supernatural-ish show with mechs? Then look no further. From ghosts to mech battle this show has all the comedic romance, slice of life, and action all in one. Only downside is that for the first half of the show you will be slightly confused as what is happening in the show is not explained very well. But keep on pushing till the end and you will see that your time was ...

    Could have been much better
The dialogue was actually infuriating. Basically, main character says, "Please tell me what I need to know." The replies all throughout the first 3/4 of the series is, "I can't believe you don't know. You're actually an idiot. Here you are asking a perfectly reasonable question and nobody tells you anything for the sake of this story." Seriously, things were left out so much that I started to ...

  • Worth watching but Sad
It was worth watching and it has some harem elements, some mech stuff. There's the occult stuff in there too for the creepy peeps. The character development isn't particularly deep, but I'm picky like that.

Pretty depressing story though. Get out your Prozac for season 2.

Asura Cryin': Light of Science, Darkness of Uncertainty
I'm not really sure that Asura Cryin' actually needs more positive reviews, as it seems to be doing pretty well already, but I've got two cents on me, so I might as well drop 'em in the tip jar (so to speak).

Going in, I was determined to hate this anime. The first few episodes almost proved me right, due in large part to the plot's steadfast refusal to reveal important details until the ...

I guess I have to admit it.
I tried to hate this anime. I really, really did. And for many episodes, it looked like I was going to.

When you start watching this anime, you won't know what the hell is going on. Get used to it. This lasts for many, many episodes. Pretty much the whole series, really. You'll get fragments of understanding now and then, but the plotting is so erratic that you'll give up in annoyance ...

    Fulfilling entertainment!!!
This series captured my attention within the first seconds of the first episode, and it held that attention for the duration of the series. I'm so very glad that I watched this after all the episodes aired, because otherwise, I'd be having fits due to the cliffhangers that the episodes tend to leave you with...

    A Boy and His Ghost
Asura Cryin' doesn't hold anything back in its opening, giving you a brief introduction to the characters and "factions" the show will feature almost immediately. Its first episode is action packed, and gives you just enough information to entice you. A fantastic start, but how do they build?

    A Whole New World

To start this off I want to give a bit of a basic idea of what the show was ...

Great show from beggining to end!
I really enjoyed Asura Cryin', it had a lot of action involving mecha and good humor with the protagonists. The story got confusing at points but it was easy to follow. This is a different anime as the protagonist isn't the center of the story and the supporting characters greatly impact the story. Overall great show.
