    The Art of Storytelling
***If you liked the series, there are three more episodes that are not on crunchyroll***

"To be blunt, I just enjoy talking to you… so I want to talk with you more”
    -Senjougahara Hitagi

For every medium, there are few masterpieces that transcend the status quo and become something special. Bakemonogatari is irrefutably one of the special anime series that fully capitalize on everything it ...

5 thumbs up! A Must Watch!
Its the best romance I have seen since inuyasha! I love the modern take on a relationship! There is such a twist in the perspective that you are thrilled just by their presentation of araragis thoughts! A must watch.

Should be on everyone's watch list
I've been watching anime for years and have seen so many that they start to blend together, however, Bakemonogatari is one of the few that sticks out and earns a permanent spot in my top 5.
The flow of the show is amazing- rather than focusing on a central storyline, the show is divided into several "mini-arcs" that focuses on different characters and the development of the relationship between ...

Seinfeld if it were a serious (non-comedy) harem anime
This is an anime about nothing. It's not a comedy, and it's not really a slice-of-life either. It's definitely fantasy, but that's not the focus. Trying not to spoil things too much.. there's an awful lot of premise built into this show, but it isn't the focus. Instead, the focus is on the diversions. "By the way, have you ever thought about.." seems to happen about two minutes into every ...

sorry but i didn't like it...
it was so confusing and didn't make any sense. I admit the graphics were nice and their voices fit perfectly i just didn't like it... Something about it just didn't make me want to watch the next episode. Usually i wouldn't give up at the start but it was just that boring... I was so excited to watch this until i saw the girl with glasses pink lacy underwear and the other girl who slipped on a ...

An Excellent Dialogue Oriented Supernatural Harem Anime: 4.5/5
There are a few exceptions (actually, more than I care to admit), but I usually don't like Harem or Supernatural anime. Both genres often fall into very predictable patterns or overuse certain tropes, almost to the point of causing psychological trauma. This is a good one, though.

Bakemonogatari is a dialogue oriented supernatural harem anime. This means that the lifeblood of the show is witty ...

Definitely an Acquired Taste for Anime Viewers
This anime is NOT something that will appeal to everyone. Aside from the fact that there is not much action, a large portion of the show is composed of characters talking back and forth, spewing out exposition. That being said, this is one of its major strengths as well as one of its faults.
If you're looking for an action packed, sci-fi thriller, STAY AWAY from this ANIME! This show is ALL ...

A beautiful romantic and haunting anime!
My first experience with Japanese anime was with "Astro Boy" around 1965, so one can guess my age. I have seen many others through the Amine Channel and now through Crunchyroll, which I can watch on my 55-inch Vizio LCD TV with WiFi. At first I didn't understand what was going on, but as the stories are released, I liked it more and more. I see that this site will show only a few episodes at the ...

Visuals so stunning the Crunchyroll player needs an upgrade
Based on the light novels by Nisio Isin.
    Anime adaptation by Shaft.

The rest of this review is just gilding the lily.

If it seems like the stories begin half-way through, well, yes, yes they do. So do the novels. There are references to things ...

    A brilliant post-Evangelion weird anime
Highly recommended for anyone looking for something post-Evangelion - weird, bursts of action, lots of innuendo, suggestion, and psychological oddities. Clever, funny, smart, and bizarre, but not really bouncy and bombastic like many other titles.
