About Beelzebub

Oga Tatsumi is a first year student in Ishiyama High, a notorious school for delinquents. One day while taking a nap by the river he sees a man floating by, and the man suddenly splits in half to reveal a baby boy inside! This boy is the son of the Demon King and Oga has been chosen as the one to raise him, together with the baby's demon maid Hilda! With his close friend Furuichi and a bunch of other characters joining in on the fun, Oga must raise baby Beel while preventing the world from being destroyed!

Ishiyama High is a school full of delinquents. Oga Tatsumi, nicknamed "Ogre," is known as the most powerful delinquent of all. Even the upperclassmen and students from other schools recognizes his strength. One day, while engaged in a fight, Oga spots a huge man drifting down a river. As he saves him, the man splits in half, and out comes a lively baby from his insides.

This baby is Kaiser de Emperana Beelzebub IV (Baby Beel), the son of the Great Demon King. He has been sent to Earth to destroy humanity. He immediately becomes attached to Oga, who possesses outrageously evil strength. That's right - the most notorious delinquent was chosen to become the parent of a Demon King. Whenever Baby Beel cries and throws a fit, he ends up electrocuting Oga. After learning that Baby Beel becomes attached to strong and evil beings, Oga goes on a search for people who are more powerful than himself. But even then, he helps Baby Beel overcome his weakness and even goes with him to defeat other delinquents. Before you knew it, they were starting to look like a real family.

"Beelzebub" is a heartfelt parenting story featuring Oga Tatsumi and Baby Beel, as they laugh, cry, and fight; all the while maturing as a parent and a child.
