Just by watching the first episode, I have a lot of expectations
Not often do I come across a show that gets me completely hooked by the first episode. Usually it takes me a few to get into the characters and story, however Blast of Tempest just so happens to be one of those shows that I could tell right from the start, that I'd love it.

A lot does happen within a short time, but it leaves much expectations to be had. Blast of Tempest is produced by the ...

That Hidden Gem in a pile of coal
    This series.......

first off lets just say that the artwork alone is beautiful.
granted in the beginning there is some partial nudity due to ta girl being stranded on an island but oh well.

I literally fell in love with this series
and that's not even the worst part.

This series literally got me to read an entire Shakespeare play voluntarily, and not even one of the common one's that ...

    Starts Strong; Ends So-So
This series has undeniably one of the most interesting and engaging first episodes I've ever seen. The first few episodes are all really tight and the hook is absolutely one of the best (Maybe the best) of any series I've ever watched. The premise is interesting, the characters are intriguing, the art direction is great. The first few episodes of Blast of Tempest should be used as a textbook ...

Been in a three way tie for my all time favorite anime since it came out
I'm a 26 male in the US and I consider this anime in a tie for my all time favorite, along with From the New World and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I recommend this show to older high school age, especially college age, and adult. This is NOT for you if you're in the mood for skill-based fighting competitions to compose a significant part of each episode (it's not like Naruto or Bleach). ...

Excellent Animation, Good Character Development, Interesting Plot
Let me start by saying this shouldn't be my cup of tea. I'm not a love story kind of guy. I'm mostly a Robots or Ninja punch each other in the face or do something humorous kind of guy.

But this story really has a strong hook. The character development is really well done. You care what happens to these characters right off the bat. I waited through 18 episodes to review this because it could ...

Some VERY good points, but not worth your time.
I enjoyed plenty about this show, but after having completed it, I regret having poured in so much time for so little. Let me explain.

The show has deep characters, well-animated action, and decent twists. Its approach to characterization and the depiction of events is unique, especially how it treats someone long-dead as a main character, their past quirks and sentiments echoing forward ...

    Surprisingly good and bad
The first half of the show would make it be a 5 star rating and should probably be in you top 10 anime of the last 5 years. But, when the second half began, it's like a totally new show with the same heroes but without everything that was making the show a great one. The pacing change, the style change (in the second half they try to make you laugh and they dont succeed), the explanation about the ...

    Story Told Well!!!!!!
Blast of Tempest got me glued to the computer screen from the very start. The characters where so well placed with the right personalities and the voice acting was well done. Although i didn't get sleep the past two nights with the "just one more episode" lie i tell myself every anime i'm interested in...
    it was worth the watch.
The story will keep you wanting to watch more, with a mystery ...
