  • Totally Awesome Throughout
This literature-friendly fantasy mystery thriller is a great anime to watch! The episodes fly by, the two main characters are badass and amazing, and the plot is so grandiose that any lover of over-the-top fantasy stories would love this!
I loved the story and the characters, and this damned anime actually made me want to read Shakespeare! It's that good.
Definitely recommend, one of the best ...

    Fix the search please...
I'd been watching for Zetsuen No Tempest to appear on Crunchy Roll since the loss of Mega Upload. Seems my problem was that I was searching Zetsuen No Tempest or Civilization Blaster each time and never got a hit. Today I just kinda came across it while browsing. Which brings me to the title of my review. I think Crunchy Roll should refine thier search algorhythm to include the original Japanese ...

  • Amazing from start to finish
This is one of the best anime I've seen in recent memory. Each episode is engaging and keeps you glued to the screen. The character development is superb, the animation and art are beautiful, the script is surprisingly good and the plot is very well done. Everything ties in beautifully. The references to Shakespeare are also fitting and welcomed. I don't usually rate anime 5/5 but this one ...

  • Which side is right?
Half way through you're still in entirely sure which side to be on and which side is right. I enjoyed this show this far. The characters are insightful and quirky. The female character is strong very strong but of course she has her weakness, which seems overbearingly slightly unbearable at times. The fate of the whole world rest in the hands of a love sick woman. which that part seems kind of ...

  • Blast of Tempest Review
In my humble opinion, Yoshino and Mahiro's characters are somewhat hard to connect to throughout the first half of the series due to their personalities being "too developed," if you will. One might venture to say that these second-year high schoolers are extremely well adjusted considering their age, but I feel as though this makes the initial connection, that many anime-lovers adore sharing, ...

  • Plot twist, Comedy, Tragedy, Love, Hate, Tears and Joy...This has it all!!
A fight between good and evil with twists that made you wonder just on whose side you would be on next! I just happened to pick this series because it had more than 5 episodes, but in the first episode alone it had me hooked! It is hard to talk about it without giving it away, but I will say this Blast Tempest was AWESOME!!! Enjoy!

  • "The sum of 40,000 fans could not match that of my entertainment value..."
To think such a gem has been sitting in my queue for months without me watching it!!!

This is one of the most well produced anime I have seen since Psycho Pass and Fate/Zero. The pacing, the soundtrack, the animation and the characters were some of the best I have seen yet. The way the mixed in the two tragedies of Tempest and Hamlet into the plot is unique and certainly adds to ...

An anime that pulls from Shakespeare
The anime has an interest concept as they pull from Shakespeare's work "Hamlet" and "The Tempest". It isn't even subtle, they mention it many times in the anime. The ending of both plays are vastly different, one happy and the other tragic. The show sets up pretty good but I find looses its footing mid series. The psychological warfare is quickly dropped for action in the second half and ...

    Unique and special must-watch!
Blast of Tempest is what you get when you cross anime and Shakespeare. It's just like a tragedy by this classic author which makes it amazing, however, paired with things e love from anime.

The main plot is pretty solid and while being mysterious, it never tries too hard. You definately get your WTF-moments but it actually does make sense in the great end. Its carried by the amazing ...

    Good anime drama w/ action
I liked the stroy line, but they tried to make things too complex probably to extend the episodes. Everyone portrayed a good and bad side. No one was really the main hero. In the end everyone found strength in really on others and pulling together their strengths. LOgic, problem sovling, action, magic, romance, tragedy, and drama. Alls well that ends well. My first review, didn't want to have ...
