  • Another Terrific piece of work by Bones!
Im a HUGE fan of animes like these. The types that have deep underlying themes and symbols. If you're the type who scratches their heads when it comes to these complexities, fear not! Zetsuen no Tempest explains everything through amazing, smooth character and story development. Unpredictable twists keeps you on the edge of your seat and i guarantee you won't see them coming! You can never be too ...

Starts off strong then loses momentum
The start of this series starts off very strong and i was engaged with the characters and story. After a point in the series story stops progressing and there are full episodes of dialog that does not advance the plot at all. This is followed by major characters basing their actions on other character's bust sizes. This series wasn't terrible, but i was expecting more.

It has been a blast literally
Some secrets are better left dead.

Yet, in some ways, they always seem to come back from the past and continue to be part of your lives. It's like when you go through a photo album and you see that one picture which strikes you the most. You take out that picture and examines it carefully and take a trip down memory lane. However, in this series, that memory lane isn't a happy memory. No, in ...

One of the most underrated anime I've seen!
It's a shame that this series has been so overlooked by most viewers this season, as this is one of the most underrated and surprisingly great series that I've seen in a while! An epic blend of action, sci-fi, and fantasy with a vivid story inspired by Shakespeare's classic stories Hamlet and The Tempest, compelling characters, and beautiful animation thanks to BONES, Blast of Tempest should not ...

    F**ks With Your Mind
When I first started watching this anime, I was really confused because Aika seemed to really hate Yoshino.
As I watch more episodes, my confusion seem to grow because things started happening that should be out of this world. I never really thought this anime was going to be about magic! Then Mahiro appeared out of nowhere with magic and this weird doll!
I hated the fact that Mahiro is hell ...

  • BoT- A Good Solid Anime
Blast of Tempest was good, not great, but good. It has an interesting story inspired by Shakespeare and oddly likeable characters. BoT plays out very well, but it does get a bit draggy and can be purposefully opaque. It does explain itself well and come full circle surpassing expectations that may have been built or dwindling. The animation and music are very good. 3.5

  • The time is out of joint: O cursed spite / That ever I was born to set it right! -Hamlet
This anime was great from the start. I love how the plot was set and aspire from Hamlet and the Tempest from Shakespeare. It even threw in some quotes which made the anime that much better. The animation is beautiful, the music also went well with their scenes. Mostly I enjoyed the opening of the 2nd season and closing. I really recommend watching this. It'll keep you guessing on what will happen, ...

  • An excellent anime, a compelling story.
Simply outstanding anime. Blast of Tempest has what any good story should: an engaging and unpredictable plot, well-crafted characters with unique and believable personalities and desires, exceptional dialogue that can grab and hold a viewer's interest better than many other shows' action scenes can (Seriously, one episode revolved almost entirely around an unfolding conversation but kept me ...

    The civilization blaster.
In blast of tempest the story revolves around two people...Mahiro Fuwa, a teenager whose sister was mysteriously murdered one year before, and his friend Yoshino Takigawa.

    Characters:
This show had a good mix of characters overall, but there were two in particular that i did not care for. The first was Yoshino, and the second was Hanemura.

Yoshino seemed to be the type of person to really ...
