Just Another: Blast of Tempest Review
I would once call blast of Tempest one of my favorite anime's of all time, rewatching it, I see some more of the flaws in the show (all of which are mentionably quite minor.)

However the show still is a remarkable one. Following any of the characters is interesting, as every character feels well fleshed out and like they are each more just narrative pawns used to push the plot forward or to be ...

  • Genius that only comes along every few decades
This anime captivated me from start to finish. Bold writing techniques made by the author are used to reiterate lessons and quotes from Shakespeare himself. Literally using his literary works as citations.

Incredible animation, voice acting, and stellar plot that never stops moving forward. Every twist and turn that occurs is more unexpected than the last one. And for the scholars out there ...

  • I don't get why so many people liked this?
I watched the entire thing hoping that I could see why so many people liked this show and gave it 5 stars. Wish I had stopped after a few eps.

Personally I found this pretentious and couldn't relate to any characters. When you can't empathise or like the main characters, you know you it won't be a good time.

For anyone who started to watch this, really watching to like this, and can't; don't ...

  • Another anime I can't believe I never knew existed
This anime has plot like you probably aren't used to seeing. The story gets pretty twisted and I can almost guarantee you won't be able to predict anything that happens up until the very end.

The characters all feel fresh. Yoshino and Mahiro start off being a little generic but over time that actually works in their favor and you can really start to feel for them.

    Overall...LOVED IT. ...

  • Worth your time... just stick it out.
Definitely a good one to binge to help with keeping everything straight as this one has a few curve balls. Starts out slow but ends pretty well. Wasn't quite sure what to expect when I went in to it and even know it kind of defies standard descriptions you could use for most anime.

    predictable and mediocre
Nothing about this show is great and little of it is even good. The plot is so obvious. It says I need more characters but there is little else to add. The show just isn't good compared to other shows and neither is it good compared to works of fiction in general.

  • Better Than I Expected
Note: This review is based of all episodes of Blast of Tempest

I was bored one day, so I decided to scroll through the Crunchyroll Catalogue. I wanted to find some shows to queue up and watch. After a while, I stumbled across this show here. To my surprise, I found out this show was made by studio BONES, an animation studio I am a big fan of. Because of that, and because I was genuinely ...

  • Magnificent show yay!!!
Great story with well developed characters with real personalities!!! I love this one! Be warned, this is not for emotionally faint hearts. Also, this passes the feminist tests and relatable character tests! One downside is that 1 of the episodes is damaged and cant be played

  • A Fresh of Breath Air
Refreshing. Breaks the mold as far as anime goes in a very subtle way (nothing extravagant, but breaks away from a lot of the anime tropes while maintaining a lot of the classic aspects of what makes anime great).

The fan service is very tame (as in there is little focus on it. Far less fan service than, say, Fairy Tail).

The story does end on a point that leaves you satisfied and without ...
