Lots of setup, very little pay-off
Brave 10 is a short (12-episode) historical fantasy series set at the end of the Warring States period in Japan, when Ieyasu Tokugawa is beginning his efforts to consolidate the various fiefdoms and daimyo into a single nation under a Tokugawa shogunate.

In the wake of a raid on a Shinto shrine, where the raiders destroy the buildings and slaughter the priest and the shrine maidens, the raid's ...

Awful plot with little character development
As the title says, the plot is just horrendous. Each episode serves really to just add another member onto the team, but does little to really develop each one. The series is too short (or poorly written) to have this many characters in which the viewer would actually care about more than maybe 3 of them. The small plot twists are also not very imaginative.
Artwise, I felt like it was fairly well ...

    Brave 10 ~ Good Anime
This is an action-filled, adventure, and love-filled anime. It also has some comedy to it. This graphics are great. And for all you ladies out there, the characters are quite good looking. The action scenes get pretty intense. Although the bond between the main characters may seem annoying at first, you'll get used to it. I recommend you this anime.

Fun times, but don't expect much else.
Twelve episodes was just right for this little series. Again animators took on the whole Edo/Tokugawa/samurai/ninja storyline and had a little fun with it. That time period must be for Japan what Camelot is for England. Anyway, I liked this. It's a pretty tightly woven story, and doesn't bother to beat around the bush with lengthy character intros, or a lot of baddies to match the number of good ...

I have never seen anything like it... It is not a compliment.
Brave 10 has three things that made me watch it all the way: great acting cast, fighting sequences, sense of humor. That's it. The show had absolutely NO character development, a really awful story and an even worse of way of telling it. The show basically uses 9 episodes to introduce all the characters, so they can wrap up the series in....12? Are you serious? The final episode is the most ...

Good animation, but that one bad character can really hurt...
The series overall was fun to watch, but every time Isanami spoke I just wanted to close the window. Each of the other characters had a distinct personality that developed throughout the first season, but Isanami was completely static. As one of the main characters, she should have learned and grown with the others, instead she remained obstinately immature. I would even go so far as to say that ...

    Warning: Will hook you fast!!!
Brave 10 is a series that has a huge amount of potential; the plot, storyline, characters, and animation blend togeather flawlessly! This perfect balance of anime elements will leave you begging for more...and in short order since there are only two episodes available right now!!! That is my only criticism so far, the lack of episodes. I can not wait till more are available so that I can feed my ...

  • Not worth your time, it becomes boring and you just stop caring
The show is so boring the characters are not even fully developed. You end up not caring about the characters aside from the main lead. I only kept watching because it was 10 episodes only to find out that it's only half the story.

I wouldn't waste my time with this one action scenes are whatever, the main lead isn't that strong and we doing know anything about the characters.

    Find something ...

  • Sometimes solid and often awful
When this show was good, it was a lot of fun to watch. It was cheesy but episodes seemed like they flew by in 5 minutes. When this was bad, it was nearly torture to watch. The plot devices were so awful/disruptive/gimmicky/illogical/character compromising that I started wishing all these characters would just die already. There were also tons on exposition/monologue scenes during fights. On top of ...

  • Buzzing with fun and potential
Brave 10 is super fun and enjoyable. The art is sleek and modern and the action sequences and overall animation is amazing. The characters, despite the occasional lack of screen-time, are really diverse and provide a ton of different perspectives. The older, feudal Japanese background blends well with the supernatural aspects of the story even as the plot fizzles out near the end. The unfortunate ...
