  • Excellent story that explores some mature themes.
BTOOM! is a cross between Hunger Games and Lord of the Flies. My only real complaint is that the series currently ends after resolving the B-plot. I'm hoping another season is in the works and that we get to see not only how our heroes get off the island but whether or not other players also find redemption while forced to play a deadly game.

I will warn that this show is aimed at a mature ...

  • ~My Btooom Review :D
Btooom for me was a very enjoyable anime, I loved the opening , I didn't skip it once. The anime was action packed and kept you on the edge of your seat, the animation wasn't to bad either. Its not the best or worst anime out there give it a try

  • Pretty Amazing, needs more Seasons!
Being new to Anime, this is a great and wonderful experience.
Most of the Action Anime's are all about swords and sword fighting, this gave me a new feel to Action. I throughly like the start when Sakamoto kind of chases Himoki... And the way they meet, but I don't think that Sakamoto is a 'perv' type, so I didn't like that bit... Other than that, it was amazing, thrilling and the drama was ...

Not really what you think it is
Having watched a few series before this, this show reminds me of Gantz + Deathnote + Battle Royal = but the best aspects of each series.

I walked into this show thinking, okay its an anime about a video game and that was probably one of the biggest sucker punches I have seen in the intustry.

As it is so much more about video games, there is relationships and really deep theames that our ...

Great and leaves you wanting more..
This anime kind of reminded me of the Hunger Games except better!
I also like the BIMs and how there are different kinds.
What I didn't like was that this genre is a little too dark for me.
Overall, it has great action and makes you wonder how they will survive and escape the island.

    I say, you watch this
Who doesn't like to watch an anime with killing and explosions? Even though I was a bit disturb with some of the scenes, I would have to say that i would watch this again. It's entertaining enough to watch it more than twice in my opinion. Deff something u could marathon out of boredom. I'll give this one a 7/10

    Wonderful Story...Wish there was More!
Btooom! will scratch that SAO/ Accel World itch, while speaking to some deeply mature themes around survival, sex and loss. While, I very much enjoyed the episodes available, Btooom! ends so abruptly that I would caution getting too attached to the characters or story.

  • Dark, but good at the same time.
The concept of a bomb only combat game really didn't interest me at first, I thought it'd be pretty boring. But I was really wrong, Btoom is one of the better series I've seen in a while. Not only was I wrong on, but the bomb only concept actually really adds to it.

The only negatives I'll say about it is that it's pretty dark at points, people get blown up obviously. But that's not what bugged ...
