    Was entertaining but wanted more...
I had little expectations going into watch this series. Overall it's entertaining - action packed certainly (though very easy to determine what will happen plotwise), however I had hoped they would go more into depth regarding some of the heavier issues and themes that are brought up. I think I'll try reading the manga as it's likely the mangaka did so. However, would like to see this one go into ...

    BTOOOM! Sakamoto and Himiko
The Intro is so AWESOME! I really liked the plot and setting. I really didn't read the Manga but i would say. It's so stupendous and awesome. The story about a game became real life, An overly fat Ash, pokeballs as bombs, and pokedex as crystal glass attached to your body to reveal people who is moving.

I loved BTOOOM! so much that I finished all 12 episodes in one sitting!! It was exciting and I could not turn it off!...it keep me on the edge and I just had to find out how it would end. Sadly there was not really a ending ...I am hoping they add more episodes to actually show who gets off the island and how they do it.. I am going to be keeping a eye out in hopes of a 2nd season!!!

  • Totally Worth Watching!
I don't know why this show isn't more popular. To me, its right up there with Sword Art Online and High School of the Dead. If you're into action anime, watch this! Cool story line, albeit not the most original but definitely worth watching instead of wasting time browsing for something good to watch. A bird in the hand folks! =)

Worth the watch! Mild Dumbness yet exciting
I looked forward anxiously towards every episode that came out. That makes it an anime worth watching in my book.
If I had to say something about the show that I didn't like... it be how blind some of the characters tend to act

Ask yourself, What would you do if you woke up one day on a deserted island with nothing but your clothes, a pouch with eight Bombs
Ask yourself, What would you do if you woke up one day on a deserted island with nothing but your clothes, a pouch with eight Bombs in it, a weird green gem attached to your hand and now you are expected fight for your life to get off this island. This sums up the basic story of BTOOOM!
The art in this is excellent. The island is vibrant and teeming with life. The various buildings and ...

  • Excellent and explosive!
Brutal, gritty and energetic. Every second of this anime kept me on the edge of my seat, it's like watching a Jigsaw game crossed with Battle Royal and I sure as hell loved every minute of it. When an anime has a rather uncomfortable atmosphere, like the things they pull off in Ju-On or Ringu, then you know you're in for a treat, seriously those scenes regarding Sakamoto's past feels like a live ...
