Just as I expected... not that good
Before the start of the anime season, I told myself I would watch each series for at least three episodes and then decide if I was going to keep watching. This was one I didn't think I'd like from the start. It looked like Yu-Gi-Oh (which I didn't like either) and almost an exact clone. Ok, so it's based on a real card game and has the Yu-Gi-Oh creator on, I already know. But the fact that the ...

It's time to Ride!? And not on Motorbikes!
I'll say one thing right now, I'm not the biggest anime fan. I do like some but not a lot, in actual fact I only really liked three. However, this may turn out to be a fourth for me. Cardfight!! Vanguard (why are there two exclamation points?") is a brand new anime, which was released only three weeks ago to this review. Though for three episodes, it is a very intresting series.

    Let's start at ...

You will learn to love it!
    Title says it all.

The show is designed to learn to play the game. As you watch you become involved and then yearn to play it for yourself! After that is when you start buying the cards and the game does not disappoint.

If you have your doubts about the main character being too weak to don't worry. He steps up so that you don't have to get annoyed with him.

The story is that of a ...

    Stand up The vanguard!
That's the tag line of a character in the series if you guys didn't know. I like to pick out a tag line as a title so you have an idea what they would say.

    Overall
The story for this anime is not like your other card game show. I did a review on battle spirits and the overall plot is typical but in Cardfight vanguard it throws almost everything you know about the genre. The main character ...

    STAND UP...and Support Vanguard!
Ok, I have been on here only to see countless comments of how this anime is just another spin-off of Yu-Gi-Oh, or how it is just another card game anime. NO DUH PEOPLE....it's not called "CardFight" Vanguard cause it's a hentai, of course there is gonna be some card playing in here. Also, I'll give it to whomever thinks it's like Yu-Gi-Oh, the main character is a wimp. However, he doesn't have ...

  • A funny tricky game!
The anime is fun to view, characters are basics, like the story. But the game, is... a trick.
Thought the anime show that only Triggers in drive, and damage check let you won a game : it's in fact, the trick of the game.
Some rules are not shown for that game, and it's for that some players are in here : Suzugamori Ren, Kai, and Asaka.
All of the three doesn't see the game like other players, ...

    It's different than Yu-Gi-Oh!
Vanguard is very much alike to YGO. But they are their own shows in many ways. Someone reviewed and said that unlike Yu-Gi-Oh! the main character doesn't win all the time, which is very true. Unlike Yu-Gi-Oh!, Vanguard doesn't really have that many female duelists. The storyline has a few twists and turns in it which makes it fun and exciting. There are cards that you would never imagine and ...
