This is one of the rare shows that I never skip the opening and ending song. They really draw you in and put you in the right mood for the show. And yeesh, that battle with Desktomu-kun and Kana-chan was intense. I was cheering for both.

Why do commercial translations always have to suck?!? It's like they're trying to convert what the Japanese characters say into Americaneze, rather than relaying the Japanese meaning with English words. Frustrating. /pedantry rant end/

As much as I like Arata, I'm still rooting for Taichi to win Chihaya's heart in the end, along with overcoming his own insecurities. I really empathize with his character, and it just puts my heart in a vice to see everyone trying so hard.

Retro-kun has one of the ugliest anime faces I've ever seen. He looks like a skeleton. I cried after the Class D Match. POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT: It sucks having to battle against your own in a match. Really does.
