Dragon Crisis

This is one of those fantasy romances that most people love because its touching and or heartfelt. From a 1-10 bases I would personally rate this show a 7.5 or an 8. This series has some twists and turns along the way, but in the end the story really florishes. This series is really enjoyable. Thi is the part where you would ask me "So... Is this a great anime series or not?", I would say yes but that doesnt really pertain to you now does it? So find out if its great, good, or even the best anime series you have ever seen then and only then you cananswer that question.

This is a story about a young boy named Ryuji, who gets reunited with a little red dragon he had forgotten soon after his first encounter, whom he later names her to be Rose. As it turns out, Rose isn't the only dragon, but one of many. As this is a review, I am not going to tell the story.

The dragons, who normally remain in human form until they get excited, well... turns out to remain in their super-cute and cuddly human forms... maybe not Onyx. The storyline during the very initial first three minutes is not very exciting, boring enough to keep me for a few weeks from continuing further and watching the rest of this excellent series, until last week, when I told myself that I would watch a minute more... then, surprise!!! I just could not stop watching it. It was an absolute mind-candy, and totally cheerful all the time... my kind of story. I loved it.

My favorite part was when Sapphie, the little blue dragon, peeps her head back out of the lake after she fell into it... so cute, you have got to go and see for yourself!

I would recommend Dragon Crisis, because it is an absolutely cheerful and exciting show that could leave the viewer with nothing but smiles and cuddly feelings in the end.

this anime was excellent and the characters are interested and i'm glad the main isn't a wimp and admits his feeling for rose. the plot itself is interesting as well falling in love with a dragon which has failed everytime in history defying all odds and thier love for each other carrys them through the conflicts they have to face. the animation itself i admit is strange at first for me but after a couple episodes it has grown on me lol i really hope that they continue the show and see ryujji and rose relationship develope more as they fight the challenges ahead.

Granted, it has been a while since I watched Dragon Crisis. So, this review will be in the same vein as the others, but based on recollection. Back when I decided to watch it, the only bits I knew of Dragon Crisis was what I heard from a friend. However, it didn't leave much of an impression, but deep enough that the name stuck in my mind. So, after finishing rewatching Skip Beat and some Squid Girl. I decided to watch Dragon Crisis in a sitting.

The story, while some points were pretty unique, it didn't feel to me that it was as good as it could have been. A few things felt tacked on such as a couple of the episodic episodes. When it focused on a particular story, that's when I felt that the story was improved. I have mixed feelings on whether or not this could have benefited from a few more episodes to really flesh out the characters, their relationships with each other, and to advance in the story. However if it were treated in the same way as a few of these episodes, then I'd rather not.

The music was a plus in this series. The opening sequence is energetic and does a good job showing glimpses of the characters. The ending is, like the opening, energetic. There's more of a bounce to the ending than the first, and while it's not bad. It's not my cup of tea. As for what was shown in the series, at this moment it's hard to remember. However, it does play during those tense moments and I remember it added to the atmosphere quite nicely.

Characters was something like a hit and a miss at the same time. With the way the series was introduced, it just felt thrown together and was hard to really sympathize with any of them. After that rough start, it was a little easier with the characters, their introductions, and the trials and tribulations that followed them throughout the series. It was easy to forget some of the extra characters, but those in the main fold of the series is a different story. I just wish that there could have been a bit more of a balance.

With Studio Deen animating the show, it's easy to say that the quality was pretty good. While it was a little awkward getting used to the character designs with their large eyes as well as bold lines that make up the eyes themselves. Everything else was great. At least for me, the animation quality of this series was its saving grace that ultimately kept me going throughout the series. The effects of the many forms of magic in this series was definitely a step up compared to a few others series I was watching at the time.

Now that it's been a while that I've seen this series. A re-watch is definitely inevitable as I'd like to reform this review to reflect a more accurate representation that this series deserves. It wasn't too bad to watch, the character designs felt a little awkward to me, and it had a weak start. From a relative new director, something like that's easily forgivable. Perhaps it would have left a better impression if I didn't watch it all in a single sitting.

Very good anime to watch if you ask me. I've only watched the first four episodes (as of this review), but the graphics and storyline are both amazing. In the first episode (spoiler for folks watching this for the first time), the main protagonist, Kisaragi Ryuji, helps his cousin, Nanao Erico, steal a briefcase during a trade with an organazation called 'Fang' in the city harbor. During an intense chase throught the shipyard, the briefcase accidently opens and reveals a young blonde girl inside. However, it is soon discovered that the girl is special, as seen when she summons fire and destroys the pursuing cars (and part of the harbor). I don't want to spoil anything else for people, so give this anime a watch and post a comment on either the episodes feed or my channel.
The music at one point, just a brief part of the opening, seemed a little off to me, but I still don't mind the ost. I'd give the music a 4.8, but I can't do that here. It's just my opinion though, so post your own review of this anime and tell us what you think about it.

Dragon Crisis!, I started this anime as it was short and I didn't have a lot of time on my hands so the expectations weren't at all high. I'v heard many negative things leading to this anime but it actually really surprised me, It may not be everyone's cup of tea but you should give it a shot.

Story: The story is a fairly average story but plans out pretty well for a 12 episode anime. Its not one to make you put it in your top ten but I found it defiantly enjoyable.

Art: The art was very clean and clear and is the classic anime style, unless your into the stranger anime looks then this should tick all box's, I personally really liked it.

Sound: The opening and ending were fairly catchy but not in my opinion the greatest in the world. But I gave this a 9 because of the background music, I strangely enjoyed the music in the background as it sets the mood perfectly.

Character: Characters were very cliche'd but were done in a very good way, I really enjoyed seeing the characters visually and getting to know them throughout the series. The development of the characters was very good and there were always new characters being introduced. Two Characters i would of liked to seen more of would have been Ryuji's parents but for a 12 episode anime I can't complain since there were plenty of other interesting characters.

Enjoyment: As I have said, I personally really enjoyed this anime, I think this may be because it gives a more lighter feel to anime than some of the other anime's i have been watching recently but I still found this pleasant to watch.

Overall: I really enjoyed this anime, it was light hearted and just pure fun to watch. If your looking for a quick anime to watch this is a really good choice, understanding that it may not be to everyone's tastes but compare to some of the other cliche anime's you could find, this is a real fun one to watch.

This anime was so good and had a great ending,this is what it's about;

A normal high school boy Kisaragi Ryuji's peaceful life is turned into an adventure by the return of his second cousin Eriko. Ryuji and Eriko seize a relic box from a black broker. In the box, they find a red dragon girl Rose. In order to protect Rose from the black organization, Ryuji decides to fight using his power as a relic handler.

I have to say, this anime was terrific. The animation was very good, and the characters, even the lesser ones, had "character" to them (sorry, only word I can think of for it). Even though the storyline seemed a bit rushed, and somewhat cut-off at the end, I could tell there was a depth not touched on to the world that was created. I hope to see more of Rose and Ryuji's story in the future, even if it is in manga format. I also hope that the novel I heard of comes to America in English, b/c it is supposed to go much more in-depth on the world, and everything involved in it. And if they decide to make a second season sometime in the future, so long as they stay with the story (unlike some "continuations" I've seen in the past) I'll be very happy to watch it!
