  • One of the best Anime I've seen.
Durarara is hands down, one of the best Anime I've seen. I usually don't like something with such a slower pace. However, I was riveted to every episode of this series. I even purchased the Aniplex USA Blu-Ray I liked it that much.
I actually was sad that I didn't get a follow up with the open plot lines left off at the end. All of the songs for the series were great. There's not anything ...

  • DURARARARARARARARARARA!!
This is a brilliant anime with good animation, unbelievably fun characters with intriguing and unique relationship, as well as a bundle of strange concepts and ideas with a quirky storyline to keep it all together, As much as I praise it I do feel like a lot of these great ideas are left unexplored by the end of the series though, like the climax doesn't quite cover it or that we aren't really ...

  • You could even watch the last episode before episode 1
Now this anime grabbed my attention. Awesome characters, storyline and twists and not to mention the action! There are moments when you really just don't know who the evil character is or who is the innocent one - which makes this stand out.
The way everything intertwined was really cool which got me addicted to this from the start. Way to go!

  • Now one of my favorites!
If you're looking for an addictive anime this is it. This show introduces us to a variety of characters and personality types while conveying a wonderful plot through multiple perspectives and scenarios. It can be serious but still has comic relief that's not super over the top. It starts off a little slower but it's worth it. This anime is like a beautiful work of art- it flows perfectly- one of ...

  • Durarara = Super Awesome Anime!! ;D
    I. LOVE. DURARARA. This was a very entertaining anime, though confusing at first, it begins to make even more sense with every episode, an excellent storyline was given, and the story was put together really well, completely worth watching.

  • My opinion of Durarara.
I watched this show on a whim one day because I liked the look of the front image knowing nothing else about it and found myself hooked after just one episode.

The show follows a bunch of different characters living in Ikebukuro, Tokyo - Japan and is more a story of this district than any one person. The characters are plentiful and varied each one interesting in their own way, like Simon the ...

  • NOT THE TYPICAL ANIME, A MUST SEE
The thing that makes this show special is that it brings so many different unique characters into one story. Each of these characters could be given a show all their own. The moment you think, "Oh, this is about all about this character," another interesting character, or group, shows up.

As the episodes unfold, the manner of storytelling is from different perspectives and in non-linear time, ...

  • Great characters, great setting
there you have it. The characters are fun and for the most part compelling, only a couple of grating personalities. You have to accept the magical realism but it's pretty rewarding once you do, and they implement it pretty fluidly without beating you over the head with it - it definitely doesn't get in the way. One or two of the characters are too one dimensional but on the whole I would look ...
