    Absolutely Excellent!
This was a tremendous improvement over the majority of the animes i've been watching lately, it had excellent characters, superb soundtracks and a script that could rival anything. I truly enjoyed this show and i would recommend it to anybody who likes fantasy/drama/city life. Therefore i give this a solid rating of 10/10, i hope i get to see more anime like this in the near future.

    I really loved this show!!!
Durarara starts off introducing the characters and giving a taste of all of the main casts life. After 10 episodes or so the story begins to pick up. For me that kinda of plot was bizzare, but they really made it work. The setting takes place in a small part of tokyo called Ikebukoro which I though was also perfect for the story because it show how a big city could be like and that its filled with ...

  • NE~! NE~! AMAZING~~!
This is definitely up there with my favorite animes. It's so character driven, giving every character a place in my heart. The plot is so dark, but it's hard to really notice the whole of that with the lighthearted aura it gives off~ The soundtrack is also one of my favorites, as I have already added every track to my collection. Add all of those things together and throw in the AMAZING ...

  • started slow.........
after watching the first few eps I was going to give up on this anime. Happy I did not. I was not big on the over done flashbacks but they did pull the story together at times. for any one watching this id say don't give up on it from the slow start its just building the story well worth the time spent watching it.

  • Everything tied together
The characters were interesting and there were enough plot twists to keep my attention. I am a big fan of the animation style and how it was always very clear what characters I was supposed to be focusing on. At the beginning everything seemed a bit chaotic but things fell into place and tied together neatly in the end. I enjoyed watching this but I'm not sure if I'll be watching the second season ...

    Durarara: The Epic Symbolism-Packed Joyride
Durarara was a very intriguing anime, and caught my attention with the deep symbolism, and climatic story. Although the episodes took a while to build up, and the climaxes (Yes, there are multiple) happened all at once, I found myself re-watching several of the earlier episodes out of my excitement to fully understand every detail of the fleshed out Ikebukuro, Do not feel ashamed if you have to ...

    What I Know About Durarara
Mikado_Ryūgamine, a young boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city moves to Ikebukuro to attend Raira Academy with his childhood friend Masaomi Kida, who he has not seen since he was young. After the two meet at the train station, they set out at night to the streets of Ikebukuro. Masaomi warns Mikado about people he doesn't want to cross in the city, such as the violent and ...

    I wish I could say 5
Durarara is amazing simply put, but there are many things that stand in its way from being the best. The anime started very strong, and introduced an amazing cast. But then fell short later on in the story. They took characters like Shizuo and Izaya and made them out to be side characters. Than gave the spot light to the high schoolers, their stories were interesting and all, but really started to ...

  • I was dragged in by the complicated story
I first saw this anime on Adult Swim one day when I couldn't sleep, and if I remember correctly, I was watching the second episode. That episode completely dragged me in, and I was never able to get rid of my love for this anime.

The story seems so confusing at first, there are weird crazy people every where, so much drama and unknown details... but underneath all the craziness, in the end it ...

  • Ikebukuro has it going on!
Too bad that is a spoiler. For a 26 episode anime, it is amazing. I'm glad it's getting a second season because I would love to see what happens next in this crazy adventure.
