    Especially Enjoyed this show
This anime was very interesting. It was interesting to watch how each character's life intertwined with the other and how they were all connected even if they may not know one another. Excellent soundtrack. This was a very thoughtful and enjoyable show.

    What anime should be like
Only seen the first few episodes and I'm already hooked. Very interesting characters with barely any cliche's, engaging well thought out story (so far), original and very stylish. This series reminds me of why I like anime and definitely sets itself apart from the usual mediocrity that most animes deliver.

In A Lion, Out A Lamb
I originally wrote this on my MAL account, so here you go:

Durarara (DRRR), directed by Takahiro Omori, started off very strong, and as a result, I headed into it thinking it would be like the highly acclaimed Baccano. I thought it would have various advanced plot devices, stellar characters, and beautiful animation from Brains Base Studios.

For the first 13 episodes, I was correct in my ...

    Durarara!!! Needs a Second Season
This anime grasps anime lovers into watching the amazing anime, Durarara!!! A boy goes to a town that has crazy things going on! Each characters talk in each episodes and, I guess, talking about themselves.

    Big Durarara Love! Fantastic!
I love this anime! The artwork is well done, and the characters are incredibly flawed and complex. They all seem to shift from one sided to 3-d before you know it!
The story is well connected, and fun to follow!

Lots of interesting plot threads all come together for something underwhelming.
So, this is one of those stories where there's a ton of characters and plots that all seem unrelated, but they gradually intertwine to make one story. The individual bits of this show are excellent, but after everything comes together in the final third of the show, there's very little payoff.

Still, it's a unique and fun show that is totally worth a watch.

Amazingly likable characters, second half weak
Durarara is one of my favorite animes. I really love all the characters (especially Izaya). Fans of Baccano will immediately feel at home with the first half of the show's fantastic plot structure and multiple character focuses. The series is also scattered with many assorted mysteries that are all really intriguing and keep you guessing right up until...the second half. The second half of the ...

Amazing!! In love with the series~!
DRRR!! Is one of my top five anime series. The story line is easy to follow, all of the characters are likable. Plus, the story can actually relate to reality, such as realistic hair colors, the setting being an actual place, and the characters being mixed cultures. You don't see anime every day that can actually pull that off.

Many female anime fans dislike characters with big ...

It has been a while since an anime like this has caught my attention.
All I can say is that the animation effects were wonderful and the voice actors in Japanese did a great job as well, but off course that's not what makes Durarara captivating. In this anime I believe each character has a soul, everyone is unique and full of life, the anime represents a clash between culture and social structure, in this world of Durarara it shows how small our world can be, ...
