It has been a while since an anime like this has caught my attention.

All I can say is that the animation effects were wonderful and the voice actors in Japanese did a great job as well, but off course that's not what makes Durarara captivating. In this anime I believe each character has a soul, everyone is unique and full of life, the anime represents a clash between culture and social structure, in this world of Durarara it shows how small our world can be, ...

All I can say is that the animation effects were wonderful and the voice actors in Japanese did a great job as well, but off course that's not what makes Durarara captivating. In this anime I believe each character has a soul, everyone is unique and full of life, the anime represents a clash between culture and social structure, in this world of Durarara it shows how small our world can be, through the social media experience and how lonely the city can be when you are not among friends. SPOILER: My favorite theme of this anime was the Dollas a gang that was created through the internet, you would not be able to tell who they would be, because they have no color and they are invisible because of that rule they could be anyone they could be your classmate, your neighbor, your best friend, your mother and you wouldn't know it. I though this idea was pretty cool. I would like to see something like that in real life It would be interesting, but it made me think, if someone were to do that in NY could they get away with it or would they eventually be discovered?

On the side note, this anime is a show to watch and please do so, I don't want to spoil anything else, but if my spoiler didn't intrigue you in any way I'm sorry to hear that.

Durarara! Is Amazing!

This is such an amazing show!! I love all of the drama and action that is involved in this anime!
I wish they made more episodes, this is one of my dear favorites!
I'm a huge fan! Durarara is amazing!

Heart pumping, mind blowing, holding on to the edge of your seat action throughout the whole series - check

This is everything you always wanted in an anime.

At the beginning, the plot evolves a little... slow. It gets quite boring, even. I was about to give up watching, but the characters are what really caught my attention. Not going ...

Not going to spoil anything in this review, because I strongly recommend you watch the whole series yourself. I assure you, you will be impressed. Durarara is really one of a kind.

This is like freaking amazing.I love the story setting. The music in the beginning really makes me dance.. The characters are so like self minded and stick to one personality unlike some other anime.. So far I love this<3

Definitely Worth Watching~

After finishing this anime, i fell in love with it. I highly recommend you watch this if you are a huge anime fan.

Storyline:
To be honest, at the beginning, this show felt dull and confusing; but overtime, as the anime progressed, i started to like it more and more, after each episode. The storyline gets more exciting as you go deeper into the anime, and everything about this anime is ...

After finishing this anime, i fell in love with it. I highly recommend you watch this if you are a huge anime fan.

Storyline:
To be honest, at the beginning, this show felt dull and confusing; but overtime, as the anime progressed, i started to like it more and more, after each episode. The storyline gets more exciting as you go deeper into the anime, and everything about this anime is really interesting. When i got into the middle of the series, i just couldn't resist not watching it! Everything about this anime is so exciting! I stayed up nights to finish the episodes.

Music:
I loved the soundtracks in this anime. Durarara uses different sorts of music in the soundtracks; Russian, Irish, Traditional Japanese; this is just a small part of what made Durarara so amazing. To be honest, I didn't pay much attention to the soundtracks while watching the anime, but when i looked them up later on youtube, i just fell in love with them, and it's great how they made the music fit into the anime.

Characters:
All the characters in this anime are so unique. It's great how all the characters have a background story about them that links them to others and what they've become now. I loved all of their personalities, especially Orihara Izaya's. The sense of humour in this anime is quite amusing..an the one I'm sure anyone would be interested in is the relationship between Orihara Izaya & Heiwajima Shizuo. There were so many surprises to these characters! Its interesting that all of the characters have their own secret.

Overall, I'd rate this 5/5. It's such a great anime. It's really exciting because you don't know what to expect next. The storyline was so unique and interesting; its very different from other animes i watched. Definitely one of my favorite animes and i highly recommend you watch it. <3

Ask yourself that. this anime has, I'll admit a slow start but if you like your shows with a plot a bit more complicated then lets say a half demon searching for jewel shards, then i would recommend this anime. its interesting, the characters fit easily in their roles and hey if you hate it after the 5th episode stop. but its keeps getting better trust me.

Love this show couldnt go with out it

I liove durara i normaly dont go for these types but when i saw it with my friends i was hooked. i loved how this show played out all of the chacters and how the many twist and turns keep you on your feet and wondering what will happen next.

Drrr is forgettable but exciting

Now the first time I watched this show I was like was REALLY excited however after re-watching it and after some time I realized it was only a decent anime. Don’t get me wrong the storyline is better than average however but not by much. The action was left to a minimum, so was the romance, if anything it was A LOT of drama but it was headed in the wrong direction; therefore it was very weak. Sure, the sub-plots like character history and the small tuffs shared between Shizuo Heiwajima and Izaya Orihara were fun reoccurring events however it really took away from the main-plot and often left me thinking, “So, what’s the real story again?” A lot of time was wasted on small little sub-plots and therefore made this show twice as long as it should have been.

The characters are minimally done as well. I found this to be the biggest weak point of the show. I mean aside from Celty, Izaya and Shizuo I felt this series offered no memorable characters. They’re probably the most popular characters on the show and therefore selling the show. I don’t even remember the main protagonist’s name and you can argue that I haven’t seen the show in a while but if he was a good main character, I’d still remember his name. For example, I haven’t seen the Naruto or Last Airbender series in a LONG time but I can name every single last character including last name. I mean, you’d think if Star Wars wasn’t good, no one knew who Luke Skywalker was. So if three characters are you’re selling points but none of them are the main characters, then you have weak characters.

Overall, the series was at most decent. Everything was done on a minimum scale and therefore I have concluded that although the series is exciting while watching, it is easily forgettable.
