Alright firstly, before any confusion is to be had Noya is not really the main character. I think Noya was in the source, but really you can't say that about this anime. Alright firstly, before any confusion is to be had Noya is not really the main character. I think Noya was in the source, but really you can't say that about this anime. Second, this is a show that manages to turn an altogether silly plot into something more serious. Things that seemed ridiculous and out of place turn out to be key points to the plot. Cause this show does actually have a plot. It just gets lampshaded by all the fanservice/comedy. It's always there though. Once you get to a certain episode that's when things start to really come to light. Still, this is not what one would call 'serious', but at the same time it's made out to be serious. And it works oddly enough.
The characters play off each other really well, and you'll see lots of things which will make you go X_x, but at the same time it just fits. I've seen lots of people talk about how Kyouko's abuse of Kanamori is cruel and everything, but it's moreso just a part of how they interact with each other, and show their care for each other. Kyouko never takes it too far, and it's made known that Kyouko would stop if Kanamori actually felt she was going too far. It's a bit hard to describe.
Like most of this show really, it's difficult to describe. Yet, it all just works somehow. My only real gripe with the show is that it's only 10 episodes, and ends at a point where a sequel is very much needed. But, fair warning, the show is QUITE ecchi. And pulls off ecchiservice stunts all over the place. CR's stream is also of the uncensored one, so that probably is something to take into consideration. There's no sex or anything that extreme though. And another warning, there is yuri and yuri service, a short yaoi tease I believe, and even something that could be taken as bestiality. If you can't stand to watch yuri/yuri-service, then this show really isn't for you, and make a pass on it.
One last thing, Astronomy is a huge focus of this show. Just felt it important to state this.
I dont' think I can say much more about this without going into spoilers, and I think spoiler-free reviews are important, so I'll stop with that.
