  • Quite the emotional series
This was the first series that I have found while looking into in the romance genre. I had quite the emotional experience while viewing this. If you intend to watch this series, be sure to watch the sequel series as well, Ef - A Tale of Melodies. The sequel answers quite a few questions, and left me with warmth. I hope you can enjoy it as much as I have.

  • Everything right with romance anime+ stunning visuals
First thing first, the absolutely stunning visuals and the OST made this already amazing anime a whole lot better. However, how well executed the romance was, was what put this series in whole another level compared to other romance anime. I liked both story lines, Hiro's because it did everything with love triangles, and Chihiro's because it was incredibly touching and so uncliche. You'll be ...

  • A great anime that is worth watching
Ever since I finshed watching Clannad, I've been on an "odyssey" to find other animes similar to Clannad. I first started with Key's other works such as Air, Kanon (2006), and Angel Beats. With Ef - a tale of memories it brought the same emotions I felt with the other animes. Ef - a tale of memories is about five characters who are seeking something. Wether it's to write a novel while suffering ...

  • Visually Stunning, Well-Crafted Romance
Ef: A Tale of Memories tells two stories that intertwine with each other. The first is about a boy who falls in love with a girl named Chihiro who loses her memory every thirteen hours and the second is about a standard love triangle between a manga artist, a delinquent girl, and his childhood friend Kei, the sister of Chihiro. The stories are well told and surprisingly dark at times with unique ...

  • Short, to the point and worth every second.
I watched this season at first simply because it was short. Yet in twelve episodes, this title manages to capture your attention and pulls at every strand of muscle your heart has to offer.

Don't let the beginning fool you. It doesn't pick up until the end of the sixth episode. Once you make it to that point, you will be stuck thinking about what will happen next until you finish it.

    The ...

  • Exceeded my expectations
I almost skipped over this one, thinking it wouldn't be good. But I was wrong. The way it shows 6 perspectives is unique, and the story for each of the people is intriguing. I bonded with the characters quite a bit, and went through a bit more than I expected emotionally. At one point I even hated Kei.
Furthermore, I'm glad I watched this series, and I'm looking forward to the next.

“Put your wishes into the memories you do not want to forget…”
As same as the title Ef-A tale of memories, this is one of an anime that probably will stay in your memories after watching it and will be use to compare to other anime in future or similar with it.With 3 combine love stories that filled with love, tragedy, sadness and a happy ending this series will probably make you cry and it will stay at you memories...All characters were ...

It really reaches out to the audience
Ef - A tale of Memories stars a few characters and only a few characters so it's easy to track who is who and their own unique personality. I do enjoy the story line of this anime which features in mainly two separate situations and one and the other does not intervene in any way much.

There is no real conflict that requires major action or any fantasy likewise in this anime. All of the logic ...

  • Emotions Are Born Here
I came into this series knowing that it was somewhat sad, but I did not expect such a beautiful story to result from this emotional drama. Truth is, I really didn't have many expectations at all, and I was so wrong not to have them. This tale depicts the tragic lives of several characters as they continue to live on and try to find meaning in life. As a result, the characters are developed quite ...

  • Just Watch It, it is truly beautiful.
This series is simply brilliant. Do not pass on this series. I don't have much else to say except to make sure to watch the second second season EF a tale of melodies right after this as it answers questions left at the end of the first season and wraps up the series as a whole...so go watch it now!l
