  • A Japanese Soap Opera..
If your into romance stories then this series will be right up your alley has a great blend of drama and is a pretty good slice of life story also their were moments when it got a bit to over dramatic you'll find yourself liking and disliking characters as the series moves along and they give enough background of the characters so you can understand why they react to a certain situation the ...

  • Easily Watched in One Session
Though I still don't understand the needless nudity and the irritating animation style where they focused on random objects for fractions of a second, the story itself was so good and fulfilling that it doesn't even subtract one star for me. A short, must watch anime (that should be seen before Ef: A Tale of Melodies). If I were to have a complaint about the story itself, it would just be that I ...

  • There are no words...
I can't express how beautiful this anime is. Following all these different stories and seeing how they all connect is beautiful. I don't care what anyone says; this is a beautiful work of art. There was tears coming down my eyes multiple times throughout this anime. I also got the visual novel because this anime was so good.

A fantastic show.. Sad, happy, amazing
The person below me really meant to put a 5 star instead of 4... This is a show that I feel everyone should watch.. Absolutely amazing. In the beginning you may end up a little confused but in the end it all makes sense. I won't ruin it for you so just sit back, watch it and enjoy!!

Objectively, this is an exceptional romance anime.
This is a brilliant story. The characters and the story itself are well-written and the animation is beautiful. In particular, I really enjoyed the more experimental animation that they sprinkled throughout each episode. In addition, this was able to connect with the audience on a deeper level than most anime I've seen. It was really something else. However, even though it is an exceptional story ...

  • It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This: Ef - A Tale of Memories:
This is a masterpiece of storytelling.

I've watched it twice so far, and I'm sure I'll relive it again some day in the future. Read on if you'd like to know why this is possibly the best romance of its medium of all time.

Ef - A Tale of Memories is a story about growing up. It's a story about holding on to what's important. It's a story about pain. It's a story about love.

    The Ef series ...

    Tales from across two cities
Ef - A Tale of Memories (season 1) Ef - A Tale of Melodies (season 2)
Though it starts out slowly, it will settle in to a steady pace a few episodes in.

This is an unusual and intricate story that crosses geography, generations, and time. Starting out as two simultaneous stories in towns of the same name in Japan and Australia, it shifts between the lines as we go along. It will also spread ...

  • I can't believe I didn't watch this for all these years!
I've got to say, I've had access to this anime for a while now, pretty much since it originally came out, and am now kicking myself for not seeing it. It really is something else, and If you are a fan of series like clannad or kanon, than Ef would be right up your alley.

But I do need to call this series Out on a few problems. One, it isn't one story, but two. One involving two kids, Renji and ...
