  • Erin is a great anime. Watch now!
I would say this is an amazing anime to watch. A lot of things start to happen while watching but its great to watch with the family if they are over then age of 8. It contains a small amount of violence and has some creatures which may frighten viewers under the age of 7 and from what I have watched (up to episode 8) contains no swearing. If you have any spare time watch this. Remember never ...

  • Their is no stopping the Feels Train.
Kemono Souja Erin, the only way to describe this show is a ride on the Feels Train with no freaking breaks (set to 60's tastic colors). While this show and it's opening may look like bland 1960's album artwork, it most certainly isn't. It is filled with amazing characters and in itself, is an incredibly heart felt story about dealing with loss. As a man who shows little emotion and hates ...

  • Remove the Flashbacks and it's Perfect
When I first watched Erin, I was caught off-guard by its art style. It was refreshing in a world of anime that seeks to make everything hyper-realistic and near cookie-cutters of one another. The plot-line is fantastic and the journey taken with the protagonist is tear-jerking the whole way through.

The anime probably could be made into a mini series with three or four two hour episodes, ...

  • Absolutely Excellent!
Nothing about the description or images really pulled me in to this anime, but when I saw the ratings(almost 1000 five star reviews with only 10 one star reviews, I've never seen such high ratings) I knew it had to be good and boy am I glad I watched this! I'm not ashamed to say I cried for one reason or another nearly every episode of this wonderful anime. Definitely one of my top 5 shows of all ...

  • Loved this show!!!!!

Erin's story is so touching and 'slice of life' but the fantasy elements all through out kept me interested even if I'm actually 'feeling' something. Like a twist of Bambi with Waterhorse.
I'm not the type of person who likes watching things that make me feel (not a whole lot of slice of life on my playlist) but for anyone who is also like that I think this show ...

Good Idea, Not the greatest execution of it.
The story is decent. I have watched better, and I have watched worst. The show starts out great, but near the middle (and after seeing the same flash back for the tenth time, or even a the second time in a single episode) it get really, REALLY, repetitive. I have no idea why they bothered to stretch it out into 50 episodes, when it could have been told in 30 or even 25.

Erin is a smart girl. ...

  • Extremely Rewatchable
I came across this show by complete accident a few years ago, and had no idea what I was getting myself into. Since then I've rewatched it over 10 times and am still not bored. It has become one of my personal favorite anime, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves steady paced shows.

  • Captivatingly Beautiful
This anime had such a wonderful story. The story arcs are captivating and emotional. Definitely an anime I would love to re-watch.
The series starts when Erin is 10 and focuses on her life as she lives in the Tohda village with her mother. As the series progresses it follows Erin as she lives with Joun the beekeeper. At fourteen Erin is accepted into the Kazalum school. Erin becomes a master at ...

    Definitely worth watching
That little girl with the harp you see there? Yeah that poster is dumb.

This show has an excellent, complex, and nuanced plot. It loses points from me for its just bad attempt at comic relief and a not so great translation job. There are scenes where the characters talk for 10 seconds and the translation is just a broad stroke of what was said. Also 15% of this show is flashbacks.

    those to ...

  • absolutely unique show
This anime is slowly paced and grows darker as it goes.

It is one of a very few anime I've ever watched that made me cry more than once over the course of its episodes.

I also laughed, regularly and with great gusto. There were times where I found myself actually sitting bunched up into my chair gnawing on my fingernails in anticipation or terror.

It is probably one of the best ... ...
