    Yeah, another review
This is a very enjoyable anime until the end. Fun to watch, easy to get addicted, without any major shortcoming.
So, I will be focusing in the negative aspects.
The storyline lacks something, and I don't mean that it not follows the manga until the end. The line between fiction and fantasy is crossed too often, specially at the end of the anime. It gets its share of filler sagas, too. And some ...

How long is it? 145 episodes. What’s it about? American Football. All of it? Yes.
Please, please, don’t dump this series just because its football. I cannot but regret that I did put off watching this and suffered my way through crap series like Blade of the Immortal. My 2 cents on why you should watch (if you don’t want to slog your way through the rest of this):
    • Typical plot (yet this works perfectly fine for this series), interspersed with drama, comedy, and laugh your ...

    YA-HA GO DEVIL BATS!
Okay obviously this is a sports anime about football. I am not a sports fan, could care less about watching sports but I seem to love anime/manga sports. And I love Eyeshield 21 It is about a student who's always been picked on and decided to change his fate by becoming a football player. You have to cheer on Sena although his weaknesses can make you angry from time to time but you can't ...

Sena starts as da manger but takes on a persona known as Eyeshield 21. Along w/ Kurita the main lineman the trio travel across Japan playing other ...

    Couldn't sit through it
This anime is known by a lot of people as a great sports anime. As a big Football fan this anime had me hyped... until i watched the first game they had. It's so unrealistic to the actual sport that its just too cringe for me to watch. I watched up to like ep 23 trying to give this anime a chance and finally couldn't take anymore. All these other people who rate this anime high, have no idea of ...

Cliche to the MAX: You've seen it all before
There is no merit to all the 5-star reviews of this anime here on CR. Watch twelve episodes, and unless you've never seen a sports anime in your life, you've seen it all before. The show is definitely aimed for a middle school audience, and the plot progression of every episode is so predictable to anyone older than 12, it just hurts.

The protagonist is a cowardly little wimp who magically runs ...

    Your gonna Ya-ha!!!!
I must admit that it is like any other long series and ends up a bit repetitive. The series is easy to follow and I swear that if real football were anything like this then everyone would love it :3

It makes me want to get off my lazy butt and play some amer. football
