    Football at its best!
This is a great football anime with a Prince of Tennis feel to it! If you love POT you will love this anime as well. The different characters are really fun but the thing that kept my attentions was the way they educated you of the game of football without making it confusing!

    It was good I guess.
There's no point in me writing about the synopsis since so I'll just go straight to the point. Eyeshield is an anime you expect to be mediocre (I mean come on, an American Football anime?), but from the very first episode, the anime gets you partially addicted to it and you start to develop an interest in American Football. It's also quite educational. However like nearly all sports anime, you ...

Why is this rated so high??
I can't really understand how an anime that takes 24 mins to show 1 set of downs is rated so high.. Granted i didn't make it more than 1 episode but cant see how I'm to blame.. It sucked is all I can say under guidelines lol..

    main character sucks
It is hard to watch. it starts off good but around episode 10 or so it takes a turn for the worst. I find that it drags out the anoying parts and shortens the god parts.

I believe that the plot could of been better if the character were just plane more.

Cliche to the MAX: You've seen it all before
There is no merit to all the 5-star reviews of this anime here on CR. Watch twelve episodes, and unless you've never seen a sports anime in your life, you've seen it all before. The show is definitely aimed for a middle school audience, and the plot progression of every episode is so predictable to anyone older than 12, it just hurts.

The protagonist is a cowardly little wimp who magically runs ...

    Hiruma, the Devilish Captain
Love the character Hiruma... what can I say... he's wickedly funny.... A lot of cool characters too.....

A good captain is one who can motivate his/her team to excell... to push beyond their limits... to keep up the team's morale even in the face of defeat.

Losing does not mean an end... but a start to be better. This is what the series based (most likely) its theme.... does not matter ...

    Eyeshield 21(what i think)
I personally dont like eyeshield 21 for several reasons. First, I think it needs more spark. I like anime that make me want to know what is going to happen and make me go crazy to want to see the next episode. Second, I watched the first episode because iheard good things about it from other websites and Sena IS a LOSER they even call him one in the episode and he literally has one friend that is ...

    Eyeshieldo kun, ichiban!
One of the best anime sports game.

An anime that centers in the moral of perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. A thrilling suspense in every battle against different teams (that focuses on such themes like: Wild gunmans [cowboys] and Ojou White Knights [medieval] )

The theatrical techniques (that also centers on the given team name (Example:Devil Bats; Devil ...
