If you compare Kagura = Lady Sunade Strength, Gin = Naruto's pride to never give up Sogo = Sasuke killing problems and Hijikata = When Kakashi never shows his weakness. They would make the Ultimate team.

There is nothing I didn't love about this arc. The Yorozuya in Shinengumi uniforms; Okita a fierce killing machine; Kondo doggedly loyal; wacky humor (Kagura couldn't stomach mayonnaise on dango, lol), and of course Hijikata awesomeness.
