GINTAMA is the meaning of FUN
400 episodes of joy, laughter, sadness and wicked action. This is how you keep an anime going for years and years in making. Gintama is doing everything right!

10/10 characters in the universe which will punch your feelings in all directions. Tons of laughing is waiting in Gintama, and the amount of episodes, with great value, is just waiting to be wrapped up by new viewers of this ...

    Everything Above and More
This show was hard for me to get into, it wasn't till when they intimidated One Piece pirates did I finally realize how funny this show is! This show is ridiculous, hilarious, and silly, but then it can be serious and has a really good arches. This show has made me laugh so hard I farted, so happy I jumped up for joy, and totally cried at really intense parts.

My favorite show! I highly recommend to watch this!!!!!
I first were a bit sceptical about Gintama, but after watching all episodes(to the date i wrote this) I gotta say, its one of the best series i have ever seen. Many other reviewers have written very detailed explanations about the start of the show and i wont copy them(read them yourself ) All i can say is that Gintama has a lot of silly humor, but occasional serious arcs as well and the ...

    Parodies have yet to Die
Gintama is arguably one of the greatest subversions and parodies of the shonen anime genre. I have been watching this anime for around 2-3 years, and have yet to grow tired of it. Comedy with drama and serious arcs scattered throughout, this anime is a masterpiece, which every anime fan should at least give a try. You'll never grow bored of watching the over the top antics of the main cast!

A splendid, splendid comedy anime with a LOT of problems.
I'd make it 3.5 stars, but you know. Gotta balance out against the "5 STAR BEST SHOW EVER" guys.

This anime is one of my favorites. It's surreal, 4th-wall breaking, usually hysterical, and has some utterly fantastic characters.
I adore this show. When the jokes hit, they HIT. That, along with a stellar cast of series regulars and a fun, upbeat cockrock score makes the show worth it alone. Just ...

    Japanese Futurama, but better
Sometime its hard to get the pop culture references because I am not from Japan. But others are real relate-able, and this is one of the funniest shows I have ever watched. You will be please if you stick it out. Also there is a live action movie to be released in USA in January 2018 that I am looking forward to. All Around a great show, and one that doesn't give up after one or two seasons.

You only watch anime when you want to binge.
Literally, the best thing I've found since I've ever started watching anime, I'm actually glad I found it this late, I get to binge and it's STILL GOING? HECK YEAH, aside from the fact of random hilarity, GinTama has a very easy-going and very passionate way of showing itself. It is very subtle with it's jokes and makes it easy to follow (most of the time). It also has some of the best fighting ...

The humor will overwhelm you like a chair in a room full of Jackie Chans
As someone who is very new to anime I have been very choosy on which shows to watch. I had heard rumblings of this show long before having a Crunchyroll account. After watching the first couple episodes of the show I slowly grew to like the quirky characters and fun scenarios. That was just the first 15 episodes. I bought a Crunchyroll account because of this show, and not a single regret is in my ...

    A fujoshi's shipping paradise.
This is a general review & shipping guide aimed at fujoshis watching this series for the first time. Cause somebody's gotta make one. If you are not a fujoshi, just stop when you get to "shipping."

Concept: While the Yorozuya/Odd Jobs reminiscent of GetBackers, having an un-westernized Japan full of aliens & advanced technology with fashions & historical characters from 19th century Edo set in ...

    Excellent anime with great humour
Gintama has humour, emotion, awesome action and great characters. Despite being a long anime, it's written very well and will constantly make you laugh. The samurai/sci-fi setting is unique, and something interesting always happens. Not an anime to miss.
