The 16 Year Old Boy In Me Love This Show And That's A-OK
I adore Gintama. Why? It's funny. It makes me giggle. It's weird. It's weird in a good way. Sure there is a lot of toilet humor, jokes based on the male anatomy, terrible puns and bad impersonations and downright nonsensical jokes but that just gives it it's charm. You know, the same charm the a crude, tasteless teenage boy might have. Ok, maybe charm isn't a good word, but it has something and ...

  • Teach me about life!
I see Gintoki Sakata, protagonist of Gintama as a teacher. Silver haired n'er do well who seems to have all the important answers. His adventures seem episodic in nature, but there is a backstory slowly developing. Like One Piece this one can go on forever, and like One Piece, I hope it does. The humor in is show is second to none. Almost everyone is absolutely insane in this show, and even the ...

    An Absolute Masterpiece.
Oh, boy. Where do I even begin to review the colossal anime (in length and in depth) that is Gintama?

Someone once compared Gintama to a hot pot of anime, and it is probably the best descriptor for it if Gintama can ever be summarized in a mere few words. It literally has everything under the sun (and beyond it, with aliens and all) and seriously everything you could ever want in an anime ...

  • my review of gin tama
the best of the best in my view i consider it at the top with the big 3 aka: naruto, bleach, and one piece (some consider it the big 4 because the count dragonball z
as I do not because I personally enjoy dragon ball more than I enjoy dbz.) With that being said if you are not into episodic anime this is not for you.

Gintama is Like an Evergrowing Family
Gintama is an odd anime, unlike most shows that stick with a small amount of characters, Gintama grows and adapts. Yes there are four main characters, Gintoki, Shinpachi, Kagura, and Sadaharu, but all of the other characters aren't just one time appearances. They become part of the series as if they too mattered and they do matter. There will be episodes that focus on these "side" characters and ...

  • Your patience and time will uncover a gem
There are three categories in any series, movies, books, or whatever that involves a story line. Type 1- The story starts of amazing and dies out like a match in the wind, this type will mostly lose the audience. Type 2- The story stays the same from beginning to end, may or may not keep the audience around for to long, which is strongly based on from individual to individual . Type 3- The story ...
