Overall, the show is very funny, appealing, and somewhat action packed. The reason for it not being a full 5☆ is because the show is mostly composed of fillers and one shots, which is usually on the appeal of comedy. Overall, the show is very funny, appealing, and somewhat action packed. The reason for it not being a full 5☆ is because the show is mostly composed of fillers and one shots, which is usually on the appeal of comedy. While they are funny, some are tedious to watch and some you can't re-watch. Also, there may only be small moments within the episode that's funny, while the rest just seems dull. However, when a main plot (or just its own plot) arc comes up, it's usually spot on, with action filled moments, witty dialogue, and a very serious/funny plot that hooks you on.
The story line itself is spread out into arcs that can range from 2-10 episodes, (save for some single episodes that introduce certain characters). Like said above, the anime is mostly composed of one shots and fillers [of comedy], so the start of arcs [that have to do with the main/overall plot] are usually around a 20-30 episode gap. Occasionally, an arc may branch off into its own arc. The main story goes by slow, but overall it's very well done and addicting when you put them together.
The music (OST and Openings/Endings) is very good and well thought of. It can change from various themes with no problem, and correctly fits the scene (save for the openings/endings of course). They all fit the mood perfectly.
As for the opening and ending themes, overall they were great (Opening themes usually spawning around 25 episodes, and endings to about 12-13). There were a couple that were dull, or just didn't fit the grouping of episodes they were played at, but still, very good.
All the characters in this show are unique and original. Many personality clashes shows for a great show/laugh. Also, the naivety of some usually go for reoccurring jokes, and the impulsiveness and other traits of others really help the show in its performance. When looking at it, all of them have flaws rather than having that one "invincible" character.
The animation itself is well drawn out, creative, and colorful. The one problem is that during fighting scenes, seemingly in the most crucial parts of fights they frames either repeat themselves on a different part of the screen or are limited[,however this is only in few cases]. The characters in general are visually appealing.
Overall, I would give this anime something around 85-95%. While it's not a perfect one, it is definitely worth a watch[, but I warn you the first two episodes don't introduce the characters well, and seem more like a rushed filler, which may have been the cause of not immediately picking up viewers].
