DMH1031: Go Lion is the original of Voltron, probly what you saw was the hacked up shitty version that foisted upon American audiences because the original was so violent and dark.
I've finally made it to the end of this. It seems as though there are missing episodes here from what I remember of the Voltron series growing up. Did they make episodes of Lion Voltron independent of "Go-Lion" then?
I agree with squirrel3d. The music is better in Voltron but it often didn't make sense because they did so much editing and censoring that they lost the plot.
The version we saw in the U.S. as kids was definitely not this series. That series had whole episodes that were made for U.S. audiences only (weren't seen in Japan). Made it to the end of this, but kept getting distracted by the poor art.
For all of you saying that Voltron i better:
I do agree that Voltron had better music, and some (not all) of the voice acting was pretty good. But if you see both, you'll see that Voltron didn't make alot of sense in many areas.
