  • Superb characters, great story
First of all, the characters are really interesting. Each have their distinct behaviors and they grow familiar to you as you watch each episode.
The romantic side is spot on: not too easy, not too hard. And the final episodes will just leave you agonizing about each decision that is being made on screen. Not all animes pull that off!
    Highly recommend this one!

  • One catharsis after another
Golden Time will tug at your heart from every possible angle. Be prepared to cry from happiness, sadness, and some beautiful mixtures of both.

Golden Time has some unconventional sequencing, but rest assured that by the end the pieces all fit together very well. Even better, it provides the viewer with one payoff after another. What really keeps it going is its incredible crafting of ...

What is this? This feels absolutely stupid(15 episodes)
Now granted that I have never been in a relationship, so I do not know what I am talking about but this show does feel very fake, the conflicts introduced are forced and often straight up stupid. Furthermore, all characters are uniformly stupid. Come on...........

  • A Romance Anime Where The Relationships Go Somewhere
This anime is the first romance anime that I have watched where the relations between the characters go somewhere. Most of the time the two characters from these types of shows only say their feeling at the end of the show with no resolution but instead this show goes through a relationships the good times and the bad.

I really like this show it is one of the few that made me cry.

  • I laughed, I cried, I understood, I loved
This anime really hits all the highs and lows. With out a doubt it stands at the top of romance anime. While others take the whole series to culminate in a kiss, this gets it out of the way with ease and moves onto something quite special.

    The comedy heart warming.
    The anguish was gut wrenching.
    The connection was relate-able.
    The pain was heart breaking.
    The love.......... Wow.

    Guys ...

  • Wonderful cast of characters
This is not perfect, not by a long shot, but all is forgiven due to the characters who all grow in some way (even you, 2D-kun) and become more than the average anime cast these days. Kaga Koko is among my top heroines for the way she commits, the realness of her emotions, and her great voice actress and animation. I think I understand now how one can give up on 3D girls when there are 2D girls ...

Like Koko Herself, "Golden Time" Is Not Perfect, But Almost Impossible To Resist!
At first glance, Golden Time appears to be a simple, charming college rom-com with fun and bizarre characters (none more bizarre than the leading lady, Kaga Koko, who while both loving and beautiful, is also clingy and irrational in her behavior). It gives the impression that there won't be a lot to this show besides young love and wacky college adventures. But once the show begins to pick up ...
