Good Luck! Ninomiya-kun

I did not know what to think when I first started watching the show. I was like O.K. good opening, fairly good animation, and then after bout 15 minutes in; I was like HOLY CRAP. I knew from the get-go it was going to be pretty ecchi, but it was sort of over the top. Making a demon girl with the fear of men have constant sexual skits. If they go to far; Ninomiya would die. That is something that I might consider over-the-top. There was in my opinion very good characters in this particular harem anime. There is the usual main heroine, side heroine, smart heroine, supportive heroine, and my favorite; the deadpan heroine. You can obviously tell who the main protagonist would choose very early in the series. Other than the main hero/heroines; there are good side characters. Ninomiya and Mayu's older siblings had very good roles in this anime. There was only one thing that I did not enjoy about this show. A everyday anime-watcher could not start halfway with this series. They would think that it would be to ecchi or to stupid for that matter. If this show would be enjoyed; it would have to be shown from the very beginning. This is it for my Good Luck! Overall, Good Luck! Ninomiya-kun! was a pretty good anime. I was bored and just looking for something that would make me laugh and searched the Crunchyroll comedy section in anime, and this is what I found. It lived up to my hopes for it. As my title states, the anime was pretty perverted. But not to a point in which it ruined the anime. The pervertedness was done in a way in which just made things all the more amusing. If said things happened in real life, we'd have some problems. But done in cute anime style, anything can be pulled off.

Storyline:
At times, yes, I found the storyline to have it's confusing points. But I think that's kind of the point. You want a bit of mystery as you're trying to figure out the unknown back-story which brings you to the final episodes. There wasn't anything huge about the story that made me fall in love with this anime, but it wasn't dull at all. It's something i'd probably watch again sometime, but not enough for me to go crazy over it. Don't check it off the list as a bad anime, because it is quite good. I'd suggest it to friends to check out.

Music:
As many of my reviews state, i'm not one who's crazy into music while watching anime. I tend to get too wrapped up in what's going on to pay too much attention otherwise. But nothing sounded out of place, therefore, i'm happy!

Characters:
It was nice getting to learn about the characters, although their stories were not too detailed. Ninomiya-kun's sister really amused me the first little while. She's such an intense character. Everyone else I really just feel content with. The later episodes were also more enjoyable as more characters got involved in the things happening, which I enjoyed.

Animation:
Also no complaints here. Nothing blew me away or was overly memorable; But there was nothing wrong or messed up that bothered me here either.

So, all in all, I would recommend this anime to anyone who's looking to laugh as I was. It may catch you off guard with it's random moments, make you wonder a bit in the next scene, but all in all, i'm sure you'll laugh as I did. Enjoy!

Honestly, I thought that this series was a pretty generic romantic comedy anime.

The storyline was not very coherent and at times too random to follow. One of the episodes (keep in mind that this series only has 12 episodes total) is complete filler and irrelevant to the plot. The show doesn't really have a central plotline or villain either, despite having an outrageous premise from which many promising plotlines could have been thought out. Oh, and the ending also felt very rushed and did not live up to my expectations. Nothing was really resolved or explained, just another average anime ending. Overall, the story was just not that great and rather disappointing.

The music was pretty good, but forgettable. The characters were cute and all, especially the girls (:P), but again, pretty standard fare for anime. Lastly, the animation was the only part of this show that one could call "above average" - the scenery and characters were all very beautiful and acceptable for a show of its genre.

Overall, the show was little more than a standard, mediocre romantic comedy. If that's what you enjoy, then go ahead and check it out: it's a pretty good time-waster. If you're looking for genuinely great, serious romance, though, I would suggest skipping it.
