  • Fascinating mixture of mystery, supernatural, spiritual continuous tale of humanity.
I was very impressed with this anime, not expecting anything, I got fascinated by the mixture of the mystery, supernatural, spiritual but also very human aspect of this mystery/horror anime along with realistic political intrigue. It takes place in a small mythical kingdom next to Germany after(?) the first world war. The artist keeps al human emotions alive very well, as in humor, which he ...

    Anime worth watching
My title doesn't really do this anime justice, an amazing experience that makes you think about what is happening within the story as it unfolds and links back to things that previously happened to solve the mystery in a Sherlock homes kinda way more than just worth watching so stop reading and watch it! >.<

  • This anime is perfect!
This review is written after I've seen the whole anime, so I'll write about what I thought of it. I might not be good at explaining my love for this anime, but I'll try ^^

  • Not what I was expecting.
And its a good thing! I was drawn into this world and became attached to the amazing setting characters and story. It is one of a kind and I will it enjoy again and again. A ending has never left me more satisfied or on the edge of my seat.

    Certainly Something Worth Watching!
I was a bit skeptical at first as I am with most anime and the like, however this won my attention due to the atmosphere of the time setting and how the two main characters meet and begin this wonderful Sherlock Holmes styled drama.

Victorique's salty-humorous attitude towards people gave me the insta-like on her immediately. Kujo's simple mind, curiosity, and dedication for Victorique made me ...

  • Definately a good one!
This is one that sat in my que for a couple months as I tend not to like the crime type shows. I ended up watching gosick in two days. The stroy line is awesome, well paced, and doesn't end with some sort of craziness. Each episode lends to the story with out getting boring. The characters are very likable and well developed.

I think this ended up being appealing to me because Victorique did ...

  • Japanese Version of Sherlock Holmes
I believe this was my fourth anime and it blew me away. It's one of my all-time favorites. The plot was very well-written. I love how this anime was set somewhere different, other than Japan or any fictional or futuristic place. It was more real, even though the country it was set in was not. You must not miss this anime if you are interested in conspiracies and crime.

  • Beautifully made. This should undoubtedly be watched...
This anime is maybe my most favorite so far.... The integration of the times and setting into the story is magnificent. And one thing that really sells it for me is how the episodes work together in ways that you wouldn't expect.
Most of the time, in animes of this nature, there' s a mystery per episode (at least at the beginning of the series) and it doesn't get into a real story until later. ...
